POULTRY FARM AND HOW I MANAGE MY COST OF PRODUCTION.

I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

What's cost of production?

Cost of production is total amount of capital is being in order to produce a certain number of product. And when we talk about cost of production its entails so many things, I means its encompasses so many things such as;the labour help go factor the production of the product, the raw materials that are being used, the equipment or tools that are being used and then you talk about advertisment and the marketing aspect. These are what are in the umbrella term of cost of production.

HOW DO I MANAGE MY POULTRY FARM BUSINESS COST OF PRODUCTION?

There are some cost of production that once they are gotten once, they can be used for while which I put them under permanent cost of production. Things like the drinkers, the feeders, the pen, human labour. While temporal cost of production are the feed, the medication and the birds itself. These ones come and go but the permanent cost of production will still serve you for a while like cover up to 4 or 5 batches.

So the management of my farm business lies so much on how I manage my cost of production such that I don't really spend so much on labourers because most times I do everything myself which that alone helps me to retain my gain. Aside spending on the feed that the birds will consume and the payment for the day old chicks. All over things are done by myself, that is how I have tried to manage my cost of production so that my gain it profit won't be tampered with.

The thing is I have observed for long that the cost of production needs to be put into consideration in this business and that's what the business requires. Sometimes if you overspend your cost of production you will just discover that your profit at the end of the day doesn't so close to your cost of production.
