Playing with parchment paper.

I have been really fascinated with the concept of making abstract art with photography. Seeing something in your everyday life in a different way makes you think about the world from a new perspective. To create this image I simply crumpled up some parchment paper and added a couple of colored lights. The photo was created from a 40 picture stack to get the depth of field. I would like to do an entire series of these photos, but this was just an experiment for now.
