More Than A Wish - LOH Contest #164

Greetings, my fellow ladies. The holiday season is already upon us, and most people have already begun the preparations, from decorations to shopping for materials needed for the season, to travel preparations, to stocking the house with food items, and lots more..., all for the season. This week, the theme of the ladies of the hive community contest is Christmas-related, and I will love to attend question 2 below.

If you had one magical wish for Christmas or the holiday season, what would that be?

I have a magical wish for humanity, but before I talk about that, I will love to mention that my number one wish is for God to restore the health of my son and grant him permanent healing. I will love to enjoy the holiday without thinking of any possible emergency situation involving his health. I will love to experience this inner peace 🕊️ knowing that all is well with my son, and I wouldn't be spending the holidays moving up and down from one MRI of the brain scan to an EEG diagnosis, and to other treatments as instructed by his doctor during our routine check up yesterday at the clinic. Reflecting on what the doctor said yesterday, I feel that my holiday plans may not go as previously planned, and I wouldn't want such for my son, and my family. I wish that God will magically grant him divine healing and restore joy and peace for the lives of my family and me .

I had a knock at my door some days ago, and behold, they were grown-up children from a poor family asking for raw food for them to cook in their home and eat. Looking at them, you will notice how unhealthy they are. I could feel their hunger only by looking at them. It's good that they didn't choose to steal, but to beg. However, there are many of them in our community who cannot afford to feed well anymore, and it's becoming harder as the day passes by due to the current hard time in my country. People are struggling to feed themselves, and food is becoming like gold to afford, especially Rice, which is one common food used for Christmas celebrations in my country, On this note, I wish to turn into a millionaire overnight and order a trailer full of bags of rice so I can distribute it to families lacking food. These families cannot even think of enjoying the holiday at beaches, resorts, or even cinemas; their top need is to feed and be alive. However, having this wish come true means that I could reach out to many people, like those who visited my house. I wasn't able to give much, I only gave to my capacity but with this wishes at my disposal, I could reach out to a large number of families and put smiles on their faces for this holiday.

Mother think about her child before thinking about anything. Mother always wants the safety of her child in any kind of situation and as a mother you also have same wish.

Humanity is needed but unfortunately it's a thing which is disappearing with time. Sometimes I want to help people to see their bad condition but I not capable to do anything for them.

Yea, mothers are always too emotional and the bond between a mom and her kids are inseparable, that's why what affect the child affects the mom greatly
Humanity maybe be disssappering but there are still few people who practices it in our society today. I honestly hope that we will all be capable to reach out to others when needed

Oh my dear I sincerely wish for you that there is complete healing for your Son and you can enjoy your time with him in a healthy manner.
For your second wish, I understand that there are so many people in the world who are struggling just for their basics and it's sad that on the other hand there is so much in abundance for some.

I pray your wish for your son comes so soon because it hurts to see a child go through one difficulty or the other.

Sincerely sorry about your son, I might not be a prophet but has a man of faith, I pray the Lord will restore his health, make him healthy once again so that he can celebrate Christmas happily with his family. May you never have a reason to raise any emergency funds on any of your children, your peace of mind shall never be taken away from you as result of an unforeseen circumstances. The lord shall make your family whole again and turn whatever discomfort you are going through right now into multiplication of abundant blessings. Amen.

I'm quite aware of how hard it is for people to survive these days due to the rise in the prices of food stuffs and provisions as a result of the harsh economy. It is disheartening to see how children have become victims of the current economy of our country, it saddens me whenever I see children who are meant to be in school roaming about searching for food just to survive.

The most hardest part of it is that, it has even become harder to be generous because as a person you can only give what you have or what you can afford. May the Lord grant you your wish so that you can offer the support you desire.

That's just how it is for a lot of people. Many of us can't even enjoy the festivities because lack of food and resources is just hanging over many of our heads.
I hope your wish gets granted sweetie and that your son gets healed. Will put him in my prayers from today. Remain strong ma.🌺
