In this era of Web 2, many people are not accustomed to Web 3 and getting them to understand how everything works becomes such a hustle. Sometimes it gets really frustrating because you will have to repeat one thing over and over again but once they get a hang of it they tend to enjoy it more.
These days, the issue of cyber crime is really high and we are advised to protect ourselves so as to not fall victim of these activities. Even with all this some of us still find ourselves in such instances. Once I was scammed because I didnāt really know what I was getting into. Should I say I was naive? Yeah maybe I was then but later on I learnt my lessons the hard way.
Due to my past experience I found it hard to believe that Hive blockchain was actually legit even though I was being introduced to it by someone I actually trusted. I even thought that maybe this person didnāt also know it was a scam and so I was trying to save all of us the trouble. After much research and consideration I decided to give it a try and here I am today.
Why do you think many people have not yet adopted Web 3, despite the fact that it offers so many benefits?
Today, many people know about Web 3 but what is preventing them from adopting it even when they know that it comes with many benefits?
Complexity of Web 3
Some people find web 3 to be actually complex and difficult to navigate.Thatās understandable but everyone using web 3 didnāt just start using it perfectly. We all started from somewhere and gradually we are where we are today. I think with more education, we would be able to draw more individuals the the world of web 3
Little or no advertisement of Web 3
In my point of view, web 3 doesnāt really receive much advertisement as compared to web 2. I think this is because we those using it do not really advertise it much. I know we will say we donāt know how to advertise but advertisement comes in different forms.Even wearing a hive T-shirt is a form of advertising the blockchain.
Difficulty in understanding cryptocurrency
Understanding cryptocurrency takes a lot of time especially for the lay man. For someone who didnāt have any idea of cryptocurrency, I really found it difficult to understand the concept of hive and how the whole blockchain worked. Even today, I still ask questions about some things I donāt understand on the blockchain and I am happy to learn new things everyday. Not everyone is ready to go through the hustle to learn about web 3 because they do not know the benefits and the advantages involved and it all balls down to education
To sum it all, web 3 need more advertisements, people need to be educated on its advantages and we those here should also make it a point to help newbies because they most definitely need our help.

Whenever people hear about anything involving cryptocurrency they become skeptical and may stop outright, this is mostly due to the scam and other fraudulent activities that came up during the early days of bitcoin, however i believe that with time all these would change
I think itās the responsibility of the one introducing the person to web 3 to try and change the their perception of the blockchain.
I think web3 technology will be adopted in a long run. The average man can only benefit from it when technology has moved pass web3.
