parkrun plus a run home

I just finished a 12.941km running that lasted about 1hh:37mm:35ss !
()

A new parkrun at Wentworth Common this morning that is 332 parkruns all up at 94 different locations. It was plenty wet, and we were lucky it was not cancelled. They changed the course to the driest part of the parklands pathways they could find so it was a 1.2km out and back, twice plus a bit back to the briefing area.
Being in a new area I did a bit of a tourist jog around the area on the way back to our accommodation to clock up some more kilometers. It never stopped raining but was not heavy so it was enjoyable and refreshing until the chaffing started.

That's fabulous... getting around so many park run locations. Looks like an awesome setting for a park run, if a little muddy !LOLZ ... more like cross-country... must have been tougher on the legs. Kudos.

There was a fair bit of cross country muddy gravel track around the pit on the way back from parkrun to our accommodation but all the rain had pretty much washed me clean before I got back !LOL

Running in the rain is never ideal, but well done on doing it anyway. I have to admire your parkrun stats.
