I miss the old Pub Gathering and Giveaways. I am new to all this sort of thing and don't have much idea with all the tech stuff but thought I would have a crack to do my bit in trying to keep the pub ticking. This weekly post is a casual place for new people to Hive to connect, comment and learn the basics, like I did in the old Pub Gatherings.

Hi Brad, we have had a couple of tropical cyclones come down affecting the top half of the North Island fairly badly. The weather in Wellington has been mild with some rain, and bright and sunny the past few days with more to come. My sisters-in-law live in Brisbane so we keep a close eye on the weather there. Both Mary and I lived there for many years so we know how bad the weather can be this time of year. All the very best, my friend - Ian.
