As the entries this month exhibit, apologies are an acknowledgement for the wrong done, showing remorse and most often taking responsibility. However, some people apologised to keep the peace thus maintaining their own integrity. Overall, the end result is one of relief and oftentimes personal development.

The importance of apologizing during altercations or misunderstandings can never be overemphasized because it can go a long way in saving the day. By restoring peace, trust, mutual understanding, and much more, the word I'm sorry has played a huge part in sustaining many relationships and friendships that should have been shattered, and owning up to one's fault isn't a sign of weakness but a sign that we cherish our relationship with the person in question and also value peace over rift.
