Weekend Engagement 199: At the forefront of my mind is how to raise my daughter.

From a positive perspective, focusing on one thing in my head can lead to greater mental clarity, efficiency and goal achievement. By prioritizing a specific task or goal, I find I can avoid distractions and be less scattered. This can lead to greater productivity and personal satisfaction at work and in life in general.

If I had only one thing on my mind right now, it is undoubtedly the idea that my purpose in life is to ensure that my daughter follows a path of personal and professional achievement that will make her a good person, who feels good about herself, and has the ability to pass on positive values to future generations. This idea occupies most of my thoughts. In a world that is so fast-paced and full of distractions. Because of this, I am constantly reminding myself of the importance of being proactive and acting immediately when an opportunity presents itself in terms of my relationship with my daughter.

My daughter will soon be 22 years old and in my case being a father has been a hard task, no one has taught me how to do it, I did not have a father figure to guide and reprimand me. Not all the burden is hard because I have the help of my wife. My commitment to her helps me have purpose and direction in my life, helps me make decisions and gives me a reason to get up every morning. She is the purpose in life that drives me to do things with passion and commitment.

My daughter is studying Audiovisual Sciences and has a knack for learning languages. Since she was a little girl, she has shown an innate talent for visual arts and has excelled in different languages. However, we have also faced challenges in her health, as she has struggled a lot with atopic dermatitis, a hereditary trait on my side.

Atopic dermatitis causes inflammation and itching, which can be very uncomfortable and painful for the sufferer. Over the years, we have had to learn to manage this condition effectively, which has required patience, dedication and mutual support.

Together with my wife, I have corrected certain behaviors in our daughter that have helped her to strengthen her character and improve her interpersonal relationships. In this sense, discussions play an important role, as they allow us to express differences of opinion and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.

This purpose in life helps me to give meaning to my experiences, my daughter gives me a reason to overcome the obstacles and challenges that have been presented to me, while maintaining my values and beliefs. My actions are aligned with my goals and I feel more confident.

Having a purpose in life that helps me stay focused and motivated over time, even when the going gets tough, my daughter gives me energy and inspires me to be the best version of myself.

Also, to achieve my goal I think it is crucial to have a growth mindset and be willing to constantly learn, this involves being open to new experiences, being curious and willing to explore new areas.

In our family, we have always encouraged honest communication and respect for the opinions of others. While it is natural for differences of opinion to arise, it is critical to address them constructively and seek solutions that benefit everyone. It is important to recognize when we have failed and be willing to rectify our actions so as not to repeat the same mistakes in the future.

It is impossible to deny that at times, I am filled with anxiety and frustration and feel lost and confused, but I believe I am on the right path. Every experience, every encounter and every obstacle I face brings me a little closer to my purpose. I learn from my mistakes, celebrate my accomplishments and move forward with my parent-child relationship.
