Taking care of our physical health is a priority. However, nowadays, we see people who still find it challenging to take good care of their physical health, not to talk of managing their mental well-being. Tbh it’s a hassle. But we all owe it to ourselves because…

Health is wealth

Our physical and mental health are what we can use to function well in today's world where there are now more distractions that ever.

Here are a few things I’ve come to incorporate into my daily activity to help manage not only my physical health but also the unseen psychological well-being.

Firstly, I hate working on low energy because that means I won’t be able to work at my peak, so I choose to work out and build more muscle and energy at the same time.

Working out for me is not only about building muscles and increasing my energy levels, but also a way to keep my stress level low, which impacts on my mental health and moods. If you’re experiencing mood swings often without knowing what to do. I suggest you add more physical activity.

However, if you’re not the No pain - No gain type...

You can try to read books that make you feel good.

Here’s where I add in my second take to balancing my mental and physical health.

Reading for me has been a challenging task since my childhood.

Tbh, it was when I stopped school activities that I only realized the power of reading. And I now believe the popular saying to be true - that readers are leaders.

Reading good books helps me in many ways, like keeping my mind still without having too many thoughts distracting my brain.

Today, many people are over - thinkers and I’m one of them

I think thinking too much was one of the issues I have in my own personal life, but ever since I’ve started reading books and learning more about other peoples' lives and experiences, it help me learn that my life isn’t as shitty as I think it to be.

Many of us are not exactly where we plan to be in life, but that’s okay.

However, many people(especially young adults nowadays)don’t think it’s okay, and they overthink everything, only to impact their mental and physical health in the process. Some even revert to taking hard drugs just to feel good again

Are you an over thinker, or you’re out of shape and don’t know how to manage your physical and mental health, try the above activities I mentioned earlier, and you’ll thank me later?

Lastly, if you think these are stuffs you don’t see yourself doing, then I suggest you make sure to have a good 8 hours of sleep every day without wavering, and you’ll see how that works wonders in managing both your physical and mental well-being.
