HEALTH BENEFITS OF CYCLING AND SAFETY TIPS

Cycling has played a major role In terms of entertainment and Healthy lifestyle. I see cycling as not only a sport or exercise but also a way to improve our physical and mental health and well-being. Cycling is healthy and is not limited to age difference, both young and old can engage in cycling. In the 19th century cycling is seen as a means of transportation before the other means like Car, train came into existence and even men that were old then could ride perfectly and healthy without having any problem on how to ride. It is advisable for the sake of healthy living for us to engage in cycling.

Furthermore, there are so major health benefits of cycling. Majorly I don’t just enjoy cycling as a fun or sport but I engage more in cycling because of it healthy benefits and fun easy way of improving the health. Here I will be explaining to your understanding on some of the health benefits a cyclist will develop or have from engaging in cycling.
They include;

  1. Reduces Depression; Engaging in cycling in modern days helps reduces the risk of depression by making this hormones help relax the mind through movement and makes us feel happy
  2. Reduces Excess Fat; Engaging in Cycling helps to reduce the excess fat in the body by helping to release greater amount of energy which involves burning of Calorie for the body to perform perfectly without undue stress or fatigue. Cycling helps to control or reduce weight by burning Fats.
  3. Improves the Cardiovascular organs; The major function of cycling is to help improve the HEART to the able to have good endurance and for the blood vessels to flow in a good condition. This helps you build your blood vessel to be able to sustain a long term of stress or strenuous activities or exercise.
  4. Builds the Musculoskeletal endurance; Regular cycling helps to build the muscular endurance, by making the body to sustain for a longer period of time and also build the muscular tendons on physical physique by give a good body shape and Posture
  5. Improves the Cognitive Development; cycling helps to improve the mental reasoning and mental activities. Cycling also plays a major role in reducing mental Illness like anxiety, depression and stress, this is dues to the effect that exercising brings.
  6. Reduces Diabetes; cycling also helps to reduce diabetes following the useful of exercises on the body.
  7. Reduces the Risk of Cancer; Engaging in Cycling can also help reduces cancer through peripheral neuropathy, vigorous physical activities like cycling plays a role on reducing Cancer.
  8. Cycling also helps in improving the joint Mobility.

Furthermore there are some tips we must know before we engage in cycling. Most people have problem enagaging in cycling because of fear and lack of foundational understanding on how safely perform excersise like cycling without having a physical problem or other harmful dangers.
Tips for safe cycling enagagment

  1. Always wear Safety Helmet.
  2. Check the Brakes before motion on the bike.
  3. Don’t rest on the gear too much.
  4. Do not eat heavy food or too much before taking a ride.
  5. Wear short clothes (more safer).
  6. Avoid high motion speed if you are a novice(learner).
  7. Avoid Potholes while riding
  8. Always stay hydrated
  9. Make sure your bike alarm is active.
  10. Avoid riding on an express road. It is not advisable to take a bike ride on a high speeding road.

I didn't know that cycling has all these benefits, it means I have been missing a lot. The annoying part is I don't even know how to ride yet.

Wow this actually sound new to me though..but hearing all this benefits about cycling I think I will try and devote my time to start it so I can benefit from it.
