My Journey Looking for Food 🛵

Here in Cambodia, it's easy to find street food or your favorite food during the day, but in the night most of the stores close quickly, except for those in the center of town which is a few kilometers away from my house.

Today I got my favorite coffee with just coffee and condensed milk at a popular cafe that has good drinks at affordable prices. It tastes so delicious and I love its aroma!

At night, there wasn't even a single family grocery store in my village; all of them were closed due to it being dark, and the convenience store was too far away for me to go to buy food. So, I decided to take a journey on a motorcycle, exploring any places that might sell food - as I had used to visit and wish I'd find street food vendors, even though it's now too dark.

I just discovered that the street food vendor here is still selling with her kids, even though she normally closes at this time. Today there haven't been many customers, so the meatballs, eggs and other grills haven't sold out yet. She can't carry over the vegetables to the next day because it wouldn't be safe for her customers - especially herbs and pumpkin recipes.

She always have grill bread available for only 1000 riel, so I had enough money to buy two loaves plus some meatballs. All her ingredients are sourced from the local market and there are plenty of options to choose from.

She has two baskets for customers to carry their orders in, so all you need to do is pick what you want and she'll calculate the total cost. Then all you have to do is wait for your food to be fried and for any other orders you've made.
