The OG Lion - (CYOA Art Drawing Entry)

The ongoing campaign at Leofinance community is indeed opening my mind towards creativity and trying out something new. This is me exploring the art world and realising it isn't as difficult to try as I had thought it'd be. I do have a brother who is so good at drawing and sketching but he's almost never at home and even when he is, he gives the excuse of no chance to just watch me and correct me when I'm drawing an image wrongly. Well, he helped out a great deal on this one for me 😅

For this quest, I'm to draw a lion that has just powered to show support to the community (An OG Lion)

I got a pen and paper for the new adventure. I searched for an image that would fit with the quest request and I found one, my Bro did most of the drawing for me so don't be surprised I drew this so well 😅

He started with the head of the Lion, seems the head is always where to start with for sketchers hehe. It took him more time than I thought I would take if I was the one sketching it out 😅 well, that makes me a very inexperienced artist, and I know. The old Lion hair seem time consuming to sketch out too.

Then he drew the two legs from every stroke on the paper, can't remember seeing him do any erasing while he was at this stage haha.

After the head, he drew the body of the Lion. At this stage, my pictured Old Lion was visible and I kept taking shots of the stages but only had to share a few to show some steps.

After sketching out, he used a pen to go over the drawing again for more visibility on the paper which I felt was really cool. He used the pen on the head first down to the body.

So here is animage of the lion after he was done. And the final work has the name and my signature on it.

He did some extras on the work and I hope the point of the art wasn't defeated with it. Hopefully more drawings to come and I specially thank my brother for his help, all these were used with his permission.
