A Talking Alarm Clock, My Busy Life Revealed

I'm pretty much sure that I would end up laughing at myself as I write this post as I'll be the one saying the words my alarm would have said if it could talk. That little thing in my phone has done a lot more than what many apps in my phone has done so believe me when I say My alarm clock has a lot to say than I would remember to share here.

Why? That is because I have grown the habit of using my alarm clock for literally everything about my daily schedules and routines. I don't know if it's a good thing for me but the fact that I am saved from sleeping too deep or too far to attend to what's important is what I'm grateful to my alarm clock for.

There are days when my alarm clock even after making sure I had it set to wake me up at some particular time, it doesn't ring and I end up going late or not doing what I had planned. I'm very sure it was my alarm clock protesting against my abuse on it lol.

So if my alarm would talk, it would reveal my busy life and more complains from it will go like this...

It's 6am again!!! Whenever would you wake up a little late ma'am? Why do I have to start screaming so early in the morning? It's not like you have a real job offline aside spending all the day on Hive. And about that Hive Blockchain, what's this I hear about Zealy that you don't even pause for a minute before you set more than ten of me to ring in a day? I keep screaming everyday with little or no break.

You have no idea how many times I've prayed that you decide to let me rest for just a day before you go on to keep being busy again. I mean, would it kill you to not get all activities done on some days, you need some rest too ma'am. Well, I'm glad I have one beautiful memory with you, the day you turned off all the times I was to ring. You needed to see how relaxed and happy I was when you did that.

And I'm sorry for that day I chose not to ring at all and made you sleep through your schedule. I saw that you later appreciated my negligence after so much annoyance and angry at me for not doing my simple job. Ma'am, it is no easy job, my mouth aches, my lungs have grown wide (Ooops just remembered I have no mouth or lungs hehe) but what I'm saying is, the job isn't easy.

But anyways, I like that I'm able to keep you active in whatever you set your mind to do. I'm always happy to see that you achieve your goals before deadlines, growing a good account on your favourite platform while being busy in communities you work in. My work has played a great part in your life and I'll say it is satisfying to know.

Ill keep doing my job but please, try to get some rest sometimes so I'll rest too, it's important you do.

I would say my alarm clock has grudges against me but also, a really good reason to be that way to me. If my alarm could talk and say these things to me, I'll definitely find some adjustments to how I use it. Regardless of whether it talks or not, I plan to limit the use as I've become more aware of the times and schedules I have to get things done.

One fact still remains though, my alarm knows too much about my busy life online and still remains my best partner for my schedules. Hopefully, I'd be able to allow myself rest more while keeping to deadlines for what's important.
