A Day In The Life of Playing Brawls

avatar

With less than 12 hours left until this brawl is over I am documenting my battles. I enter my guild's brawl with an open position at Fray 3 and here you will see if I regret it?

Battle 1

Of the bat a battle with a rule set of only magic it turned out I came out lucky with a win. The limited 17 mana did help in that made it for a small limit. I got enough low mana monsters to slide a 3 versus 2 in battle which was apart of the reason for me winning.

Battle 2

I bought into the belief that with a low mana battle it would be easy. Instead I was crushed by none other than magic monsters as once my tanker in Haunted Spirit was removed I had nothing against magic attacks. This would pave the way for me losing as I was not able to defend well against magic and on top having rute set of thorn. The rule set basically was why my monsters were getting knocked out.

Battle 3

I made a mistake for not going with a stronger tanker in Lord A. which allowed my opponent to take the W. They did so well that I did not even knock out one of their monsters as resurrect outlasted my formation.

Battle 4

Another low mana battle in that limited to 20 mana. I mainly focused on getting enough heal and first attacking monsters with a string of sneak and opportunity in my lineup. It all paided off as I took my second win in this fray.

Battle 5

Going against Zaku I had an uphill battle to climb. With very few monsters hitting high in range only battle I ended up losing. My middle to rear of the lineup just did not do enough damage.

Battle 6

Comparing the lineups it reminds me of the quote great minds think alike. As both formations have the same first and second monster it will come down to only one winner. It turned out to be me as my rear of the formation held up well and supported my tankers. Job well done even though it seemed more likely of a tie.

Battle 7

After learning how not to lose with using stronger tankers I went with a formation lead off by Lord of A. I did not regret it as my tanker held throughout the match and overall my formation did so well that none of my monsters were knocked out.

Battle 8

It was again another low mana battle but this time there was also little league rule set. I decided to take a bit of risk and went heavy focus on a magic formation. I also increase my own speed while slowing down my opponent in hopes of trying to get an advantage. It turned out to work as I snagged another win.

Conclusions

As it stands right now I am ranked third in my guild for this brawl performance. I may drop lower in rank once more of my fellow allies play their brawls.

At the very least I will have a positive series as I will have won more than lose as I only have one match awaiting results while my record stands at 5W and 3L.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

I usually win more than I lose as well but I think just submitting fights helps. There are the occasion matches where your opponent surrenders or doesn't show up. So people might get lucky with that too.
