Splinterlands | Why you should not skip the Rebellion pre-sale event

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying the great weekend with your family and friends and also enjoying this game in your daily free time. But for those like me who play this game on a regular basis and seriously, the current time is putting pressure on all of us because only less than 2 days left for this ongoing ranked season to end and that is all we have currently to reach our goals before the timer hits zero. I hope all of you splinter players are right now hustling well and battling with your level best to reach your goal, either to reach a certain league or tier or secure a spot in the leaderboard of any of those leagues. During this time, all the players go crazy and play as much as possible to collect more reward chests or rather play cautiously not to lose a single ranked match or else get laddered down from his leaderboard, so basically every season end time is like wildfire situation here in splinterlands and as expected, the traffic to the game also gets higher eventually, as it gets closer to the season end. However, for me I am as usual playing at the epic Champion league and getting booted mercilessly by other players a lot in these last 2 days. But I won't quit until the last hour and rather keep fighting unless I secure a spot in the top 10 there and grab some juicy dec rewards for myself. I am currently standing with a total trophy count of 4,292 and right now, I am ranking 36th and trying my best to lower it before the timer hits zero. I wish the best of luck to you all who are trying hard right now to achieve in the game, but you have to be faster as only 1 day and 18 hours left for this season to meet its end.

Now, moving on let us talk about the Rebellion which is the upcoming core card-set in this game and no doubt that it is the new hot topic not only in splinterlands community but in the hive chain and beyond. The pre-sale of Rebellion packs has been started already and only a little less than 20 days left for this pre-sale to end, so if you are planning to buy some packs in the pre-sale but still haven't made it yet, you should be fast about it, because out of total 9.5 million rebellion packs, only 500k Rebellion packs will be sold at the pre-sale and rest will be available in the normal sale which will start around December.

Now, it's been a long time since the Chaos Legion core edition was launched and till now, chaos cards have been ruling the splinterlands arena, especially in the modern format. But with the introduction of rebellion cards into the game, I am highly expecting that the game will be changed forever. With me Rebellion edition which will be the 5th core edition card-set in this game, splinterlands is introducing so many new things into the game and is also about to entirely change the game playing experience for us which I will be talking bit later in this post. But first, let us see what’s so special about this pre-sale and why anyone wants to join the event and buy packs.

The most important and lucrative reason to enter the pre-sale and buy a bunch of packs before many others are the promo cards that will be given away only to pre-sale buyers. Yes, not just 1 but splinterlands is giving out 2 limited edition promo cards this time with rebellion card-set pre-sale, a Legendary edition Mantaroth and a Rare edition Grimbardun Smith. These 2 cards will be very limited in this game and apart from pre-sale airdrop, no new print of these 2 cards will be made and we also wont be able to pull these 2 cards from by opening packs as well. So, there are only 2 ways getting them in your hand, either enter and buy enough packs in pre-sale and or buy from cards market later on for probably a high price. Now as per distribution, for each rebellion pack bought, the buyer will have a 1% chance to receive one legendary and a guaranteed chance for buying every 100 packs to receive a legendary promo card, on the other hand, for each 10 packs bought, the buyer will have a guaranteed chance to receive a rare promo card and please note that each of those promo cards will have 4% chance to become gold foil, just like what we saw with the previous edition card-sets. Buyers will get at least 1 gold foil rare promo cards for every 250 rebellion packs bought and will get at least one gold foil legendary guaranteed for every 2500 rebellion packs.

Now, not only these 2 promo cards but there is something more that will be given away to buyers who participated in the pre-sale. Yup, titles! This time splinterlands will give away 250 titles to the top 250 rebellion packs buyers in the pre-sale leaderboard and many investors are eyeing them to grab in. There will be 2 different titles this time - Dawnbringer will be the most prestigious title and will be given to the top 30 rank holders in the pre-sale leaderboard, the next 31 to 100 ranked buyers on the leaderboard will get the Defiant title and the rest 101 to 250 rank holders will receive the Rebel title. Please keep in mind that These titles can be attached beside your in-game name and can be visible in battles and logs so that you can show off to others, but apart from that they may also have other utilities like usable in land for more earnings etc but not any news from the official team regarding this. Now, last but not least, the top 6 pack buyers from the Rebellion pre-sale leaderboard will also earn a prestigious honor to help the splinterlands team draw or design the legendary rebellion summoners which will be introduced with the Rebellion edition into the game.
