Promote Hive and earn POSH tokens: Step by step guide

I lived in a centralised world until I discovered Hive (5 March 2019).
The Hive blockchain was my first blockchain project that I decided to take part in, and thus it was the door that allowed me to enter a world I didn't know: the beautiful decentralised world of blockchains.

Hive is a Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain on which a large ecosystem of sites, projects and communities "lives".

In the following image you can see just a small part of the projects built and developed on the Hive blockchain.

Today, 23 November 2021, there are 149 projects listed on https://hiveprojects.io/ but there are many more and they are constantly increasing.

On Hive's blockchain there are gaming projects such as Splinterlands, Rising Star and Dcrops.
Blockchain-based games where players have full digital ownership of the game assets (NFT and tokens), assets that players can sell, buy, transfer or even rent as in the case of the Splinterlands cards.

On the Hive blockchain there are decentralised finance projects (DeFi), there are video sharing projects like 3Speak (https://3speak.tv/), there are projects focused on the creation and sale of NFT like NFTShowroom (https://nftshowroom.com/) and NFTMart (https://nftm.art/) and there are many useful tools to explore the Hive blockchain.

On the Hive blockchain there are many projects and applications (Front End) that are focused on content creation and publishing such as:

Decentralisation VS Centralisation

---

Whoever publishes content on the Hive:

• has total ownership of their data, passwords and content
• has the certainty of being incensurable and not bannable
• have the possibility to be rewarded if their contents are liked or useful to other Hive users.

Whoever registers and publishes content on the central blogging platforms

• authorises the platform (by digitally signed contract) to use their data and content
• authorises the platform to exclude them from using the platform (BAN) for any reason and without explanation.

**Whoever publishes content on the Hive blockchain is an active participant in a completely decentralised project.
Whoever publishes content on centralised blogging platforms is merely a user of a service.

I don't know if you've seen the science fantasy film Matrix.
The film is set in a future where machines have taken over humanity and humans are imprisoned in a matrix and used as simple energy stacks to power the machines.
One of the most famous scenes in the film is when Neo, the film's protagonist, has to choose between taking a red pill or a blue pill.
The red pill would lead Neo to discover the truth and see the harsh reality in which he lived.
The blue pill would lead Neo to continue living in a simpler but fictitious world.

Promoting Hive in centralised platforms is like offering the red pill to people who don't know Hive and don't know the free and decentralised world of blockchains.

As Neo was a source of energy for the machines before he took the red pill so a user of centralised platforms is only a source of wealth for the owners of centralised platforms and in return gets nothing or almost nothing.

The POSH Token Project

On Hive's blockchain there is a project called POSH Token that aims to promote Hive by incentivizing Hive authors to share posts published on Hive also on Twitter.

Requirements

---

The requirements to participate in the POSH Token project are as follows:

• You must have a Hive account
  If you don't have a Hive account you can easily create one in a few steps.
  I wrote a short tutorial where I show you how to do it: HIVE: Registration and First Login with PeakD
• You must have a Twitter account
• You must post a Tweet and include a link to a post published on Hive and use the #hive tag.
  Note: only links from the following front ends are valid:
  • https://ecency.com/
  • https://peakd.com/
  • https://hive.blog/
  • https://leofinance.io/

The POSH tokens

---

Whoever shares a link to a post published on Hive also on Twitter receives a certain amount of POSH tokens as a reward.
The amount of the reward depends on the interaction that generates the Tweet (likes, retweets,...).

The POSH (Proof of Sharing) tokens are second-level tokens of the Hive blockchain and can be transferred, bought, sold by the following sites:

• https://leodex.io/

Today 23 November 2021 the value of 1 POSH token is:

• 0.03000 SWAP.HIVE (Highest BID)
• 0.03750 SWAP.HIVE (Lowest Ask)

The dollar value is $0.03720.
100 POSH tokens = $3.72.

Every day the @poshtoken account distributes 500 POSH tokens and publishes a daily report with details of the POSH token distribution.

To participate in the POSH Token project and to start receiving POSH tokens, you need to register on https://hiveposh.com/.

Step 1: Login with Twitter

---

The first step is to Login on https://hiveposh.com/ : you have to click on the Login with Twitter as indicated by the arrow in the following image.

On the next screen you have to authorize Poshtoken to access your Twitter account:

• 1. Enter your Twitter Username or the email you used when you registered on Twitter.
• 2. Enter the password you use to access Twitter.
• 3. Click on Sign in

If you don't have a Twitter account you can create one by clicking on Sign up for Twitter as indicated by the arrow in the next image.

Step 2: Link your Hive Account

---

On the next screen:

• 1. You have to enter your Hive Username.
• 2. Then you have to click on Authorise Account.

On the next screen you have to click on Continue as indicated by the arrow in the following image.

In the next screen (Hivesigner) you have to:

• 1. enter your Hive Username.
• 2. enter your Private Posting Key.
• 3. click on Login

Note: If you check Save and encrypt your login information with a password you can choose to create a password for the Hivesigner if you prefer to use a password instead of entering your own private keys for future Hivesigner logins.

In the next screen you have to click on Approve as indicated by the arrow in the following image.

On the next screen you will see the confirmation message Transaction has been successfully broadcasted with the transaction ID.

Then you have to go to https://hiveposh.com/linkHive and in the top right corner click on Link Account as indicated by the arrow in the following image.

Operation Complete! Easy right?

The Home Page of HivePosh

---

After completing the registration phase on the Home Page of https://hiveposh.com/home you can view both your accounts: Hive and Twitter (arrow image below).

If you click on your Hive account you can open your Profile page on Hive by choosing one of the three front ends available in the menu: Hive.Blog, Peakd and Ecency.

If you click on your Twitter account, you will be directed to your Twitter Profile page.

On the HivePosh Home Page you can view the Rich List of POSH tokens and you can enter your account name in the search filter to see your ranking and the total number of POSH tokens you have earned.

In the Latest Tweets section of the HivePosh home page, you can see published tweets that contain links to posts on the Hive blockchain.

Conclusion

If you are an author publishing content on the Hive blockchain, I recommend that you participate in the POSH (Proof of Share) project.

After you have published a post on Hive go to Twitter, publish a Tweet and insert in the tweet the link to your post published on Hive and insert the #hive tag.

You will receive a comment on your Hive post from @poshtoken

You will be mentioned in the daily report published by @poshtoken where you will find an indication of the POSH tokens you have earned thanks to your tweet.

Today, the POSH project is only promoting Hive on Twitter, but in the future it may also cover other centralised platforms.

My promotion of Hive is continuous and I use centralised platforms with the sole purpose of promoting Hive.
If you go to my profiles Twitter, Publish0x, Read.Cash, Noise.Cash you will only find posts about Hive or its projects.

Participating to the POSH project is for me an added value and my advice, dear reader, is to participate too ;)

Are you not a Hive user?

---

If you are not a Hive user and don't know the world of blockchains you have two options:

You can continue to be a simple number, a simple source of data and wealth for centralized projects like Facebook & Co.
You can continue to allow your data, your content, your time to be monetized, by contract digitally signed by you, without receiving anything or little more than nothing in return.

You can stop being a simple number and a simple source of money for others and you can choose to be free, you can start your adventure on Hive and you can enter the world of decentralisation.
On Hive you will be an active part of an important project with a lot of potential.
On Hive you will have full ownership of your data, your content and complete freedom of expression but most of all you will become part of a big and beautiful community.

The Hive blockchain is more Unique than Rare!

Ho vissuto in un mondo centralizzato fino a quando ho scoperto Hive (5 marzo 2019).
La blockhain di Hive è stata il mio primo progetto blockchain a cui ho deciso di prendere parte e quindi è stata la porta che mi ha permesso di entrare in un mondo che non conoscevo: il bellissimo mondo decentralizzato delle blockchains.

Hive è una blockchain Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) sulla quale "vive" un grande ecosistema di siti, progetti e comunità.

Decentralizzazione VS Centralizzazione

Chi pubblica contenuti sulla blockchain di Hive:

• ha il totale possesso dei sui dati, delle sue passwords e dei suoi contenuti
• ha la certezza di essere incensurabile e non bannabile
• ha la possibilità di essere ricompensato se i suoi contenuti piacciono o sono utili ad altri utenti di Hive.

Chi si registra e pubblica contenuti sulle piattaforme di blogging centralizzate:

• autorizza la piattaforma (per contratto firmato digitalmente) ad utilizzare i propri dati e i propri contenuti
• autorizza la piattaforma ad escluderlo dall'utilizzo della piattaforma (BAN) per qualsiasi motivo e senza obbligo di avere spiegazioni.

Chi pubblica contenuti sulla blockchain di Hive è parte attiva di un progetto completamente decentralizzato.
Chi pubblica contenuti sulle piattaforme di blogging centralizzate è solo e semplicemente un utilizzatore di un servizio.

Non so se hai visto il film di fantascienza Matrix.
Il film è ambientato in un futuro in cui le macchine hanno preso il sopravvento sull'umanità e gli uomini sono inprigionati in una matrice e utilizzati come semplici pile di energia per alimentare le macchine.
Una delle scene più famose del film è quella in cui Neo, il protagonista del film, deve scegliere se prendere una pillola rossa o una pillola blu.
La pillola rossa avrebbe portato Neo a scoprire la verità e a vedere la realtà dura e cruda in cui viveva.
La pillola blu avrebbe portato Neo a continuare a vivere in un mondo più semplice ma fittizio.

Promuovere Hive nelle piattaforme centralizzate è come offrire la pillola rossa a chi non conosce Hive e non conosce il mondo libero e decentralizzato delle blockchains.

Come Neo era una fonte di energia per le macchine prima di prendere la pillola rossa così un utente delle piattaforme centralizzate è solo una fonte di ricchezza per i proprietari delle piattaforme centralizzate e in cambio ottiene il nulla o quasi.

Sulla blockchain di Hive c'è un progetto che si chiama POSH Token che ha lo scopo di promuovere Hive incentivando gli autori di Hive a condividere i post pubblicati su Hive anche su Twitter.

Chi condivide un link di un post pubblicato su Hive anche su Twitter riceve come ricompensa un certo quantitativo di token POSH.
L'entità della ricompensa dipende dall'interazione che genera il Tweet (likes, retweet,...).

I token POSH (Proof of Sharing) sono token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive e possono essere trasferiti, comprati, venduti dai seguenti siti:

• https://hive-engine.com/
• https://tribaldex.com/
• https://leodex.io/

Oggi 23 novembre 2021 il valore di 1 token POSH è di:

Passo 1: Login with Twitter

Il primo passo è effettuare il Login sul sito https://hiveposh.com/ : devi cliccare sulla scritta Login with Twitter come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.

Nella schermata successiva devi autorizzare Poshtoken ad accedere al tuo account Twitter:

• 1. Inserisci il tuo Nome Utente di Twitter o l'email che hai utilizzato quando ti sei registrato su Twitter
• 2. Inserisci la Password che usi per accedere a Twitter
• 3. Clicca su Accedi

Se non hai un account Twitter puoi crearlo cliccando su Iscriviti a Twitter come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine successiva.

Passo 2: Collega il tuo Hive Account

Nella schermata successiva:

• 1. Devi inserire il tuo Hive Username
• 2. Poi devi cliccare su Authorise Account

Nella schermata successiva devi cliccare su Continue come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.

Nella schermata successiva (Hivesigner) devi:

• 1. inserire il tuo Hive Username
• 2. inserire la tua Private Posting Key
• 3. cliccare su Login

Nota: se metti il segno di spunta su Save and encrypt your login information with a password puoi scegliere di creare una password per Hivesigner se nei tuoi successivi accessi ad Hivesigner preferisci utilizzare una password invece di inserire le tue chiavi private.

Nella schermata successiva devi cliccare su Approve come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.

Nella schermata successiva visualizzerai il messaggio di conferma Transaction has been successfully broadcasted con l'indicazione dell'Id della transazione.

Poi devi andare su https://hiveposh.com/linkHive e in alto a destra devi cliccare su Link Account come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.

Operazione Completata! Facile vero?

La Home Page di HivePosh

Completata la fase di registrazione nella Home Page di https://hiveposh.com/home puoi visualizzare entrambi i tuoi account: Hive e Twitter (freccia immagine seguente).

Se clicchi sul tuo account di Hive puoi aprire la pagina del tuo Profilo su Hive scegliendo uno dei tre front end disponibili nel menu: Hive.Blog, Peakd e Ecency.

Se clicci sul tuo account Twitter verrai invece indirizzato alla pagina del tuo Profilo su Twitter

Nella Home Page di HivePosh puoi visualizzare la Rich List dei token POSH e puoi inserire il nome del tuo account nel filtro di ricerca per vedere la tua posizione in classifica e il totale dei token POSH che hai guadagnato.

Nella sezione Latest Tweets della home page di HivePosh puoi vedere i tweet pubblicati che contengono link che indirizzano ai post pubblicati sulla blockchain di Hive.

Riceverai un commento al tuo post pubblicato su Hive da parte di @poshtoken

Sarai menzionato nel resoconto giornaliero pubblicato da @poshtoken nel quale troverai l'indicazione dei token POSH che hai guadagnato grazie al tuo tweet.

Oggi il progetto POSH incentiva la promozione di Hive solo su Twitter ma in futuro potrà riguardare anche altre piattaforme centralizzate.
