On dCrops, time is marked by seasons which are the same as in real life but have a 15-day duration.
Just over a day ago the spring season ended and the hottest season of all, summer, began.

dCrops is a game that takes little time to play, and most of the game operations I perform in the transition in the time period between seasons.
Especially the beginning of a new season is the perfect time for me to check and monitor my game progress, which I share in this post along with my game activity.

In today's post I share my end-of-season and early-season operations to show how simple and immediate it is to play on dCrops and to share some of my strategies and considerations about the game.

My end of spring and early summer operativeness

In the spring season, I planted 106 seed-type NFTs:

• 30 Broccoli
• 27 Kale
• 13 Cauliflower
• 6 Potato
• 2 Strawberry
• 6 Dill
• 9 Rosemary
• 5 Tulip
• 3 Ginger
• 5 Mistery Seeds

Also in the spring season as in the previous five seasons I did not sell any agricultural products except those few agricultural products whose sale was necessary to complete the seasonal quests.
I have been pursuing the choice of not selling agricultural products for 6 consecutive seasons now for several reasons but the main reason I have also written about it in my previous posts and it is a reason related to the nice promotions that dCrops has organized in the last few months.

In fact, I haven't sold the agricultural products for 6 seasons because I want to sell them during the next dCrops promotional event to get a higher score and thus to get probably more prizes.

I really liked the last Xmas Event promotion organized by dCrops and I also wrote a post showing the results I got by also calculating the total value of the rewards I received (post at the following link).

My strategy should prove to be correct because the possibility of a new promotion was until a few days ago just a hypothesis while now it is a certainty because dCrops itself communicated it in a recent tweet (see screenshot below).

To monitor my game progress, I took a screenshot of my inventory in early spring.
In early spring my inventory was worth 12141 Shares points.

Today, March 8, 2023, my inventory is worth 14570 Shares points.

I have therefore increased the value of my inventory by +2429 Shares points in 15 days.

I collected only 106 Shares points which earned me 89.52 CROP tokens.

This means that if I had sold all the agricultural products in my inventory I could have gotten 12304.77 CROP whose current value (Highest Bid) is 36.31 SWAP.HIVE = $14.28.

As in the previous season in the spring season I completed all the quests and today I claimed the rewards: 12 Chests.

If you are a new player always remember to make the claim of the quests rewards and especially remember to claim the new quests before planting the seeds for the new season because otherwise you may have a lot of difficulty completing the quests ;)

In the following image you can see what I found inside the 12 chests I opened.

I have not yet experienced the joy of finding a Gold Ore but I will find it sooner or later ;)

I found a good reward anyway. Just considering the market value of the Resource-type NFTs (2 Copper Ore, 2 Wood, 1 Stone) I found inside the chests I received a value of 3.594 SWAP.HIVE.

In the image below you can see the new quests I received today that I need to complete during the summer season.

Important Note: In order to receive the reward of the Quests, it is necessary to complete all the quests.

The quests can be of three types:

• Sell
• Plant
• Harvest

Quests that require you to sell crops may also require you to sell plantable crops in seasons other than the one currently in progress.

For this reason, it is important to store a good number of crops in your inventory.

I try to store at least 12 crops for each type and rarity of crops.

I have been quite lucky with the new quests because I can complete 6 out of 7 sest.
I cannot complete only the 7th quest because it asks me to plant 3 Chamomile seeds but I only have 2 Chamomile seeds

I then have to click on Reroll, spend 10 CROP and hope to receive a new quest that I can complete.

The new quest asks me to plant two Blueberry seeds and this quest I can complete easily because I have 4 Blueberry seeds.

Once I have checked the possibility of completing all the seasonal quests I go to the Farm section of dCrops and proceed to plant the seed type NFTs that I have.

In this season I decided to use the following boosters:

• 2 Fertile Plus on 2 Awesome Land.
• 7 Speed Grow on 7 Awesome Land.

In the following pictures you can see all the seeds I planted in the plots of my Lands.

I also planted 5 Mystery Seeds.

The Mystery Seeds have turned into:

• 2 Basil (Common Type)
• 1 Rice (Epic Type)
• 1 Turnip (Common Type)
• 1 Oregano (Common Type)

Final Considerations

In this post, I showed my end-of-season rewards and showed the operations I performed at the beginning of the summer season.

An additional positive that I have recorded in this early summer season is the increase in the value of my card collection.

At the beginning of the previous season, my card collection had a value of 1484.49 HIVE,

Today this value has increased: 1530.28 HIVE = + 45.79 HIVE in about 15 days.

In conclusion, I want to show the table I created to calculate the difference in value (in dollars and HIVE) of CROP tokens over a time interval of 16 days (February 20, 2023 - March 8, 2023).

Su dCrops il tempo è scandito dalle stagioni che sono le stesse della vita reale ma hanno una durata di 15 giorni.
Da poco più di un giorno è terminata la stagione primaverile ed iniziata la stagione più calda di tutte, l'estate.

dCrops è un gioco che richiede poco tempo per essere giocato e la maggior parte delle operazioni di gioco le effettuo nel passaggio nel periodo di tempo tra una stagione e l'altra.
In particolare l'inizio di una nuova stagione è il momento perfetto per me per controllare e monitorare i miei progressi di gioco che condivido in questo post insieme alla mia attività di gioco.

La mia operatività di fine primavera e di inizio estate

Nella stagione primaverile ho piantato 106 NFTs di tipo seme:

• 30 Broccoli
• 27 Kale
• 13 Cauliflower
• 6 Potato
• 2 Strawberry
• 6 Dill
• 9 Rosemary
• 5 Tulip
• 3 Ginger
• 5 Mistery Seeds

Anche nella stagione primaverile come nelle precedenti cinque stagioni non ho venduto nessun prodotto agricolo tranne quei pochi prodotti agricoli la cui vendita era necessaria per completare le quests stagionali.
Sto portando avanti questa scelta di non vendere i prodotti agricoli da ormai 6 stagioni consecutive per diversi motivi ma il motivo principale l'ho scritto anche nei miei precedenti post ed è un motivo collegato alle belle promozioni che dCrops ha organizzato negli ultimi mesi.

Infatti non vendo i prodotti agricoli da 6 stagioni perchè voglio venderli durante la prossima promozione di dCrops per ottenere un punteggio maggiore e quindi per ottenere un maggior numero di premi.

Mi è piaciuta davvero tanto l'ultima promozione Xmas Event organizzata da dCrops e ho anche scritto un post in cui ho mostrato i risultati che ho ottenuto calcolando anche il valore totale delle ricompense che ho ricevuto (post al link seguente).

La mia strategia dovrebbe rivelarsi corretta perchè la possibilità di una nuova promozione era fino a pochi giorni fa solo un'ipotesi mentre adesso è una certezza perchè lo ha comunicato proprio dCrops in un suo recente tweet (vedi screenshot seguente).

Per monitorare i miei progressi di gioco ho fatto uno screenshot del mio inventario ad inizio primavera.
Ad inizio primavera il mio inventario valeva 12141 punti Shares

Oggi 8 marzo 2023 il mio inventario ha un valore di 14570 punti Shares.

Ho quindi incrementato il valore del mio inventario di +2429 punti Shares in 15 giorni.

Ho collezionato solo 106 punti Shares che mi hanno fatto guadagnare 89.52 CROP tokens.

Questo vuol dire che se avessi venduto tutti i prodotti agricoli nel mio inventario avrei potuto ottenere 12304.77 CROP il cui valore attuale (Highest Bid) è di 36.31 SWAP.HIVE = 14.28$.

Come nella precedente stagione anche nella stagione primaverile ho completato tutte le quests e oggi ho fatto il claim delle ricompense: 12 Chests.

Se sei un nuovo giocatore ricordati sempre di fare il claim delle ricompense delle quests e soprattutto ricordati di richiedere le nuove quests prima di piantare i semi per la nuova stagione perchè altrimenti potresti avere molte difficoltà a completare le quests ;)

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere quello che ho trovato all'interno dei 12 forzieri che ho aperto.

Non ho ancora provato la gioia di trovare un Gold Ore ma prima o poi lo troverò ;)

Ho trovato comunque una buona ricompensa. Solo considerando il valore di mercato degli NFTs di tipo Resource (2 Copper Ore, 2 Wood, 1 Stone) che ho trovato all'interno dei forzieri ho ricevuto un valore di 3.594 SWAP.HIVE.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le nuove quests che ho ricevuto oggi e che devo completare durante la stagione estiva.

Nota Importante: per ricevere la ricompensa delle Quests è necessario completare tutte le quests.

Le quests possono essere di tre tipi:

• Sell
• Plant
• Harvest

Le quests che richiedono di vendere i crops possono richiedere anche di vendere dei crops piantabili in stagioni diverse da quella attualmente in corso.
Per questo motivo è importante conservare un buon numero di crops nell'inventario.
Io cerco di conservare almeno 12 crops per ogni tipologia e rarità di crops.

Sono stato abbastanza fortunato con le nuove quest perchè posso completare 6 sest su 7.
Non posso completare solo la settima quest perchè mi chiede di piantare 3 Chamomile seeds ma io ho solo 2 Chamomile seeds

Devo quindi cliccare su Reroll, spendere 10 CROP e sperare di ricevere una nuova quest che posso completare.

La nuova quest mi chiede di piantare due Blueberry seeds e questa quest la posso completare facilmente perchè ho 4 Blueberry seeds.

Una volta che ho controllato la possibilità di completare tutte le quests stagionali vado nella sezione Farm di dCrops e procedo a piantare gli NFTs di tipo seme in mio possesso.

In questa stagione ho deciso di utilizzare i seguenti boosters:

• 2 Fertile Plus su 2 Awesome Land
• 7 Speed Grow su 7 Awesome Land

Nelle immagini seguenti puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato nei plots delle mie Lands.

Ho piantato anche 5 Mistery Seeds.

I Mystery Seeds si sono strasformati in:

• 2 Basil (Common Type)
• 1 Rice (Epic Type)
• 1 Turnip (Common Type)
• 1 Oregano (Common Type)

Final Considerations

In questo post ho mostrato le mie ricompense di fine stagione e ho mostrato le operazioni che ho svolto all'inizio della stagione primaverile.

Un ulteriore dato positivo che ho registrato in questo inizio di stagione estiva è l'aumento del valore della mia collezione di carte.

All'inizio della stagione precedente la mia collezione di carte aveva un valore di 1484.49 HIVE,

Oggi questo valore è aumentato: 1530.28 HIVE = + 45.79 HIVE in circa 15 giorni.

In conclusione voglio mostrare il prospetto che ho creato per calcolare la differenza di valore (in dollari e in HIVE) dei token CROP in un intervallo di tempo di 16 giorni (20 febbraio 2023 - 8 marzo 2023).
