Today is May 1 of the year 2024 and like every first day of the month:
I like to publish a post in which I check and share my progress on Hive
I like to share a little focus on the value of the HIVE token
I like to participate in the Hive Power Up Day initiative which is a nice recurring initiative of every first day of every month.
I like to set and share my resolutions for the month just started.
Today in Italy is a public holiday because it is Labor Day even though this holiday has with time lost importance since there are so many people who are looking for and would like to work but the job employment problem is a problem that needs to be solved because it is not at all easy to find a job especially in the southern regions of Italy where I live.
I recently returned home after a carefree day spent with my family and my little Chiara who is 10 years old and who is the greatest and most beautiful gift that life has given me and is also the main reason why I make so many sacrifices especially working...
Today is also the fifth Hive Power Up Day of the year 2024.
The Hive Power Up Day is a nice initiative that I enjoy participating in and it has also been since August 2022 that I have not skipped a HPUD and my intention is to continue to accumulate participations and badges on https://hivebuzz.me/.
With the Hive Power Up I did today I brought my consecutive participations in this nice initiative to 21.
For today's HPUD I did a Hive Powew Up = 900 HIVE -> +900 HP.
With this Hive Power Up I reached an amount of 56620.98 HP
In April I converted 180 HBDs to HIVEs, and much of the Hive Power Up I did today came from my two conversion operations.
I have always preferred to have more Hive Power than HBD because even though HBD have a higher APR than HP it is HP that have more use cases and more importantly it is HP that measure the influence of an account on Hive.
I am also considering converting the HBD that I have in Savings to Hive Power because today the HIVE token has a value of $0.30 which is a value fully in my purchasing area.
I won't convert all the HBDs I have into Savings just because I want to use a portion to buy the Holozing project starter packs even though the start of the sale of these starter packs is behind the roadmap but I am considering converting at least half because the current market value of the HIVE token is a good opportunity for me to increase my Hive Power even more!!!
Today 1 HIVE token = $0.3002
It was not a good month for the market value of the HIVE token which in one month recorded a percentage decrease = -28.23% but as I wrote before this is a good opportunity for those who, like me, want to increase their Hive Power.
Hive is my favorite blockchain project and I have set two goals related to Hive Power (HP):
an intermediate goal: to achieve Orca status.
an annual goal: to reach 75K HP before the end of the year 2024
I am very close to achieving Orca status while achieving my annual goal will be very difficult but I will work hard to achieve it.
In fact looking at the ranking on https://hivebuzz.me/ranking the first Orca with the least HP has 58354 HP and so to become an Orca I still need to accumulate 1734 HP.
In order to monitor my progress toward Orca status and toward my annual goal but especially to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I created a table in which:
I mark at each beginning of the month my monthly increases in Hive Power
I calculate an intermediate monthly goal that will be bigger or smaller based on my results in the previous month.
From April 1 to date, I have increased my Hive Power by +2140.25 HP and improved my previous monthly result but for the fourth consecutive month I have not reached my monthly increase goal and therefore my intermediate goal for May increases: 2564.91->2625.57.
Every first of the month I also like to check my level of interaction on Hive.
The two elements I consider most important for growing on Hive are in order of importance:
interaction
consistency in posting.
These two elements are strongly interrelated but interaction is in my opinion the most important element.
If you are a new Hive user, I recommend that you always give a lot of importance to interaction and try to maintain a comments/posts ratio of at least 10/1.
My goal related to interaction is to achieve a Comments/Posts ratio >= 20.
In April, I published 21 posts and wrote 459 comments and my Comments/Posts ratio was 21.85.
But my goal is to achieve a Comments/Posts ratio = 20 considering all my activity on Hive since my registration (March 5, 2019).
If I consider the total number of posts published and comments written so far I have a Comments/Posts ratio = 16.59 but even if it takes time I will reach this goal of mine related to interaction.
In the month of April, I reduced my posting and interaction activities on Hive because I have been very busy and had less free time than in the previous month.
My resolutions for the month of April are mainly two:
increase my consistency in publishing by trying to publish 1 post per day.
increase my level of interaction.
In April I also achieved a goal I had had for about 8 months: assemble a new Desktop Computer.
I also increased the number of monitors from 2 to 3 and have already ordered a fourth monitor.
With my new desktop pc I should be able to do everything I used to do faster and hopefully I will also be able to increase my posting and interaction on Hive.

mi piace partecipare all'iniziativa Hive Power Up Day che è una bella iniziativa ricorrente di ogni primo giorno di ogni mese.
mi piace fissare e condividere i miei propositi per il mese appena iniziato.
Oggi in Italia è un giorno festivo perchè è la festa dei lavoratori anche se questa festa ha con il tempo perso importanza dato che ci sono tante persone che cercano e vorrebbero lavorare ma il problema occupazione lavorativa è un problema da risolvere perchè non è per niente facile trovare un lavoro soprattutto nelle regioni del sud Italia dove vivo io.
Sono da poco tornato a casa, dopo una giornata passata in spensieratezza con la mia famiglia e con la mia piccola Chiara che ha 10 anni e che è il dono più bello e grande che la vita mi ha fatto ed è anche la ragione principale per cui faccio tanti sacrifici soprattutto lavorativi...
Oggi è anche il quinto Hive Power Up Day dell'anno 2024.
L'Hive Power Up Day è una bella iniziativa a cui mi piace partecipare ed è anche da agosto 2022 che non salto un HPUD e la mia intenzione è di continuare ad accumulare partecipazioni e badges su https://hivebuzz.me/.
Con il Hive Power Up che ho fatto oggi ho portato a 21 le mie partecipazioni consecutive a questa bella iniziativa.
Per l'HPUD di oggi ho fatto un Hive Powew Up = 900 HIVE -> +900 HP.
Con questo Hive Power Up ho raggiunto un quantitativo di 56620.98 HP
Nel mese di aprile ho convertito 180 HBD in HIVE e gran parte dell'Hive Power Up che ho fatto oggi proviene dalle mie due operazioni di conversione.
Ho sempre preferito avere più Hive Power che HBD perchè anche se gli HBD hanno un APR più alto degli HP sono gli HP che hanno più casi d'uso e soprattutto sono gli HP che misurano l'influenza di un account su Hive.
Sto valutando anche di convertire gli HBD che ho in Savings in Hive Power perchè oggi il token HIVE ha un valore di 0.30$ che è un valore pienamente nella mia area di acquisto.
Non convertirò tutti gli HBD che ho in Savings solo perchè voglio utilizzare una parte per acquistare gli Starter packs del progetto Holozing anche se l'inizio della vendita di questi starter packs è in ritardo rispetto alla roadmap ma sto valutando di convertire almeno la metà perchè l'attuale valore di mercato del token HIVE è per me una buona occasione per aumentare ancora di più il mio Hive Power!.
Oggi 1 token HIVE = 0.3002$
Non è stato un mese positivo per il valore di mercato del token HIVE che in un mese ha registrato una diminuzione percentuale = -28.23% ma come ho scritto prima questa è una buona opportunità per chi, come me, vuole aumentare il suo Hive Power.

Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e ho fissato due obiettivi relativi al Hive Power (HP):
un obiettivo intermedio: raggiungere lo status di Orca
un obiettivo annuale: raggiungere 75K HP entro la fine dell'anno 2024
Sono molto vicino a raggiungere lo status di Orca mentre raggiungere il mio obiettivo annuale sarà molto difficile ma mi impegnerò al massimo per raggiungerlo.
Infatti guardando il ranking su https://hivebuzz.me/ranking la prima Orca con meno HP ha 58354 HP e quindi per diventare un Orca devo accumulare ancora 1734 HP.
Per monitorare i miei progressi verso lo status di Orca e verso il mio obiettivo annuale ma soprattutto per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui:
segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power
calcolo un obiettivo intermedio mensile che sarà più grande o più piccolo in base ai miei risultati nel mese precedente.
Dal 1 aprile ad oggi ho incrementato il mio Hive Power di +2140.25 HP e ho migliorato il mio risultato mensile precedente (+1207.98 HP) ma per il quarto mese consecutivo non ho raggiunto l'obiettivo di incremento mensile e per questo motivo il mio obiettivo intermedio per il mese di maggio aumenta: 2564.91->2625.57.
Ogni primo del mese mi piace controllare anche il mio livello di interazione su Hive.
I due elementi che considero più importanti per crescere su Hive sono in ordine di importanza:
- interazione
- consistenza nella pubblicazione
Questi due elementi sono fortemente collegati tra di loro ma l'interazione è secondo me l'elemento più importante.
Se sei un nuovo utente di Hive ti consiglio di dare sempre molta importanza all'interazione e di cercare di mantenere un rapporto commenti/posts di almeno 10/1.
Il mio obiettivo relativo all'interazione è raggiungere un rapporto Comments/Posts >= 20.
Nel mese di aprile ho pubblicato 21 post e ho scritto 459 commenti e il mio rapporto Comments/Posts è stato di 21.85.
Ma il mio obiettivo è raggiungere un rapporto Comments/Post = 20 considerando tutta la mia attività su Hive dal momento della mia iscrizione (5 marzo 2019).
Se considero il totale dei post pubblicati e dei commenti scritti fino ad ora ho un rapporto Comments/Post = 16.59 ma anche se ci vorrà tempo raggiungerò questo mio obiettivo relativo all'interazione.
Nel mese di aprile ho ridotto la mia attività di pubblicazione e di interazione su Hive perchè sono stato molto impegnato e ho avuto meno tempo libero rispetto al mese precedente.
I miei propositi per il mese di aprile sono principalmente due:
- aumentare la mia consistenza nella pubblicazione cercando di pubblicare 1 post al giorno.
- aumentare il mio livello di interazione.
Nel mese di aprile ho raggiunto anche un obiettivo che avevo da circa 8 mesi: assemblare un nuovo Desktop Computer.
Ho anche aumentato il numero di monitor passando da 2 a 3 e ho già ordinato un quarto monitor.
Con il mio nuovo desktop pc dovrei riuscire a fare tutto quello che facevo prima più velocemente e spero che riuscirò anche ad aumentare la mia attività di pubblicazione e interazione su Hive.

That is some accomplishment, I didn’t realise you were Italian. Maybe I should follow your lead and convert my HBD too. I just like the interest too much…
I think the choice between HBD and HIVE is very personal.
For those looking for passive gain HBDs are the best choice.
On the other hand, for those who are active in publishing and interaction in my opinion HPs outweigh in mid-term return value the disadvantage in APR of HBDs.
Then much depends on the future prediction of the value of HIVE.
1 HBD will always be worth $1 while HIVE could be worth much more and an increase in value from $0.30 to $0.60 corresponds to +100% that HBDs in savings achieve in 5 years (without considering compounding)

I created the interaction table a while ago but did not always use it in my posts.
It was actually worker's day yesterday too in our country, and I also participated in mine. Congratulations on the monthly HPUD. As for HBD it's needed for some stability and the APR might be temporarily better, but we both know Hive wins the battle of gains at the end of the day.

Actually it should be a little less, about 57900 HP but I took the value of the first orca in hivebuzz ranking as reference
My main accumulation goal is related to HP but I also have accumulation goals for cent and pob tokens which I also like to add to the CENT:POB pool
HP is hard for me. My immediate goal is 100. As for CENT, I am close to 100k (80k plus delegated + 16.8k staked). Once I achieve that, my next target is to grow my POB. I now have 10k plus (4.9k delegated + 5.2k staked).

Per ora il mio obiettivo è iniziare ad usare più spesso 3Speak per avere, oltre a nuove entrate, la possibilità di creare video su alcune cose che incontro per la strada ogni tanto.. L’ultimo video che ho fatto su 3Speak l’ho fatto addirittura dalla nuova applicazione per iPhone che hanno aggiornato e sembra andare benino. Questo mi aiuterà a creare più contenuti
Sui video sono proprio inesperto ma mi fa piacere che 3speak sta facendo passi in avanti nello sviluppo e ti auguro il meglio per la tua attività relativa ai video che seguirò con piacere ;)
