It's Time to VYB Out - Vybrainium is Born!

It's time to VYB. The Vybrainium front end has officially launched. We've witnessed history as Proof of Brain's baby brother has been birthed. In reality, I don't quite fully understand the relationship POB and VYB will have, but it's fun to think about it that way. With Proof of Brain recently upgrading their frontend with a slick new UI, Vybrainium feels like a blast from the past in a good way.

You can check out the VYB Official launch post for the details along with the Whitepaper . VYB is a new front end similar to Proof of Brain that discourages self voting and downvoting. Consider it Proof of Brain without whale control via downvotes. This eliminates the ability for a whale with massive amounts of power to obliterate someone's post rewards because they don't like it. I don't want to be involved with the whole downvote thing so I'll just say I'm indifferent on the issue. Nonetheless, there is an opportunity for a tribe to exist without that issue ever arising. That, I think, is what VYB is aiming to be.
I'm just excited to be here for all these new things like VYB, SPK Network, PolyCUB, etc... The future is bright for Hive and I believe VYB will be a part of that. However small the community may be here at the start, I feel a lot of people are going to be engaging here. The same way proofofbrain has become a tag for the people, vyb will also become a tag that everyone uses. Why would you not want to earn POB and VYB for your content? That would be dumb.

I just created a template on PeakD so when I got to make a post, I just the template. As far as how I made the links, I used HTML code to make a table. Pretty easy.

This seems exciting. I have never been on the losing end of pob downvotes so that's one thing to be grateful for. But I will keep researching about vyb. might write a post today too.

The engagement multiplier is X2 or X3.
X2 is applied when the author responds to the majority of their audience.
X3 is applied when all commenters have been replied to genuinely at least once, at the time of reward decision (which is right now, in this unrefreshed page).
The VYB team recommends splitting the #vyb-launch reward by 50% with your audience. It is not a rule that will be enforced or will it affect your rewards in the future from any VYB based community accounts.
