I love how you approached the theme in an alternate reality from the norm. The mysterious blaze in the distance has caught the attention of a witch instead of a shepherd tending his flock. The witch knows many things, but this sight is puzzling, so she's off to investigate. Indeed the transformation of a fire from the usual red and blue streaks spark yellow and black. Something is amiss, and I'm sure she will discover its origin.
