New DIY skatepark almost READY... || RIP Warehouse 1350
It's official everyone! On Sunday 2/4/2023 almost every ramp was moved from Warehouse 1350 to a new secret location. The reason this was done is because the building warehouse 1350 was built in is gonna get demolished by the local authorities for "public health" reasons and there's nothing we can do...
Felt really weird when I was looking at the empty space in warehouse, lots of hours spent in there and tons of fun grinding that perfect ledge!
New DIY Skatepark Loading...
As I mentioned in this post skaters never quit so we moved as many of those sweet ramps as we could to a new secret location! A beautiful location I may add hehe!
Moving the ramps was really hard cause we had only 1 vehicle meaning we had to load and unload the truck 2 times to move everything and we were only 5! On top of that we also had to carry all those ramps for over 100m from where we parked the car! My knees still hurt from carry but I'm feeling super stoked now that the new park is taking shape!
Here's me having fun doing a test run hehe! We're trying to find the perfect location for each ramp so the park can have a great flow
The new DIY will not be as safe as Warehouse for Winter sessions but I think it's gonna be a solid place to have some fun at least when the weather allows! We're safe from storms but strong winds and cold are common in Preveza,GR and it's gonna be tough to skate with these conditions so we're gonna enjoy it as much as we can during summer time! There's also a beautiful beach 100m away from where the new DIY is located so it's gonna be dope knowing I can go for a dip after a hot summer sesh!
The first event in the new DIY is gonna happen on GoSkateboardingDay (June 21) and all procceeds will go towards building and maintaining the park. Skate contest during day time at the park (1st floor) and party at the 2nd floor!

Still tons of stuff to do to make the park as awesome as we imagine it but there's only one thing certain, we're skaters so we're gonna build hehe!

You guys r awesome for moving all those ramps to another spot, can´t wait to see the go skateboarding event in a few months and see the final DIY run done.

Brother, that place is incredible, the important thing is that they have a place to skate. I hope to see that office finished soon and see what tricks my G will pull off.
