In the past few weeks it's become clear that Chairwoman Meow now dominates the majority of my content on Hive, and I can only hope my readers don't get bored of constant kitty-cat content.
Rarely Awake ☯️ Rarely Asleep
Chairwoman Meow is just so photogenic that can't resist snapping shots of her in all her furriness and glory. Since this communist kitty has adopted us 4 humans our days have been filled with much more joy than pre-Chairwoman Meow life.
She is rarely awake, but I guess that is the life of a mini lioness living her best semi-vegan life. I am rarely asleep because of my work schedule and inability to find an assistant or significant help of any kind. Somehow seeing Meow living the good life makes me feel content and worry less about my own situation, and spoiling her with all the naps and snacks a sentient being could ever want has definitely earned me a special place in her little kitty heart.
🤦 Sorry We're Vegans Chairwoman Meow
It's been tough as a vegan household to provide her with interesting foods, and so far we've found that potato chips, nutritional yeast, and seaweed are her favorites, with the latter two being more healthy choices. I also read online that many cats enjoy seitan, and we know how to make it, so that will be a better choice for than the Chinese breadsticks she sometimes enjoys.
At least a few nights each week she doesn't sleep at our house, and I assume she goes on hunting trips to keep her prey-based protein levels up. I have guided her on a few grasshopper hunting trips, and she seems to enjoy them more than than anything, much to my family's dismay. Don't judge me, I can still be vegan and merely point out where a grasshopper is hiding.
🤗 The Cuteness Is Overwhelming At Times 😻
I feel a strong cat-dadderly instinct for this little furball because she is cute, sweet, and there are so many dangers in this village for a kitty so young, innocent, and small. During the day she is always on my lap while I work, and even in the wee morning hours like right now, 2am local Cambodian time, she sleeps in my lap and keeps my spirits up. Her best shots are when she is surprised by the camera like in the thumbnail, so stay tuned for more Chairwoman Meow content if you can tolerate it.

The Chairwoman is a "she," not a "he," haha, but I do have a few tricks to get Meow to stare into the camera. She is also photogenic, and I think that helps a lot too.

As someone who works in the industry of re-housing cats, I am delighted to see this new addition to your family.
I never wanted a cat before because I was concerned about not being able to give them the food they need because being vegan and all, but I very much always loved playing with them. I've had a few cats select my room to give birth and raise their kittens, and those were beautiful experiences to share space with an anima, but not because you're feeding it. All those cats eventually left though, uninterested in my food choices.
Well, luckily Meow can entertain us by having some seaweed and playing along with the vegan thing. I also never wanted a pet here because our life is so unstable and I really feel a pet is a lifetime commitment. Meow broke the rules because she chose us and won't leave, we are more her humans than she is our cat. Her mom died just after she was weened, so I've taken it upon myself to teach her hunting, well not really. I simply put her on my shoulder and we walk the property, anything that interests her, I put her near it and she has to do the catching and killing.
Much to my wife's dismay, Chairwoman prefers butterflies and grasshoppers. I like that she likes insects because they aren't stinky and gross like meat. I may or may not be guilty of covering up insect wings with a bit of dirt to hide the evidence 🤣.
I am not sure if cats learn their killer instinct or if they are taught it. I have seen mother kittens attempt to teach their young about killing mice and rats and it is a pretty gruesome sight when the mother goes into a trance of sorts while beheading the animal. The amount of time they put into tormenting the rat to the point of exhaustion in pretty harrowing as well. This is the way of nature though!

The Chairwoman Meow is just like our cats, they just eat, sleep, play and repeat, lol. But they are the source of our happiness so we have no problem with that, lol.
Cat is always the best subject in everything, I mean they are cute and they are worth sharing to the world ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
100% agree, the way she comes running in our house so joyfully makes me forget all life's worries instantly. I have always been a dog lover, but Chairwoman Meow is slowly converting me to a cat Dad 😀.

In a lot of ways this cat has some dog characteristics. We actually take walks together, even hunting expeditions. Our grasshopper and butterfly hunting excursions must be done in secret though, my wife doesn't want to see one butterfly lost in the world. Top-secret info though that me and Meow know, butterflies love a fresh pool of pee or a pile of steamy poop more than anything.
Chairwoman Meow decided butterflies and grasshoppers are not destined for this planet, and she's brainwashed me to believe this I think.

Yes, I love her her personality, not the usual cat. I think we are very lucky that she found us and chooses to spend the majority of her time on our property.
I love the thumbnail. It's priceless. I always want to know what the Chairwoman is doing and eating. I used to feed my cats fish and chicken even though it was taboo as a vegan but I couldn't switch them at their old age. I was not vegan when I got them. One of them loved spinach and seaweed and would go past the meat to eat that.
That is my favorite picture of her, you've got good taste. Wow, a cat that will choose to eat spinach, incredible. The only green thing Meow eats is seaweed, but nutritional yeast is king. I think the only thing Meow would choose over meat would be Chinese breadsticks covered in nutritional yeast.
I love watching her devour butterflies and grasshoppers on our hunting expeditions, but that's kind of top secret because my wife said if she sees us hunting butterflies again she's gonna buy Meow fish. I would rather her know how to hunt so she can survive alongside much more fierce Cambodian kitties.
