So many voices try to drive us through the journey of life. The voice of guardians try to track us into the right path, the voice of friends and peer pressure. Who do we listen to? There are proverbs that say "Listening to the voice of old is filled with wisdom" But then is it all elderly lifestyle that is worth it, most are filled with regret. The voices of the old are filled with wisdom if you listen carefully and adhere to them. Be careful who you listen to.

I know of a woman who almost every month was a sponsor for couples but then she was always complaining about her husband. Come to think of it, what comes to your mind when you decide to choose a sponsor for your wedding. What do you fall back to when your household is on fire? Who do you go to when ups and downs cloud your marriage? Hope your sponsors are worth the hype. Most people choose sponsors due to how rich the family is but then who do you fall back to when the fire becomes hotter?

In the book of Samuel, God called Samuel in his sleep. Samuel was sleeping in the temple when he heard the voice. He got up and went to Eli three times before Eli said to him , if the voice calls again tell him to speak for your servant is listening. Samuel was under Eli who was his guardian. Let's talk about life. Most people believe in this motion, let's live life but then who do you go to for directions when you feel the struggles of life? When life becomes tougher, who guards you through the path? But then the question is: Are you being guided in the right path or your guardian is adding more wounds to the burning fire?
Let's go into the business world, you can't just wake up one morning and decide to start up a business. It takes good business plans and having a mentor who is already experienced in that path to guide you through the various paths same as life.

Let's go back to philosophy, Socrates gave a conviction about life.

"An unexamined life is not worth living"

If you reflect on that, so many things come to your mind. How often do you examine your life? Do you just live life without a purpose? Do you take time to let go of those hurts that have built inside to form into dangerous weapons? How do you forge ahead with life? What goals have you planned? Are you just static, do you move forward or backwards or just at a place all year long. Think about it!
