Synopsis
Le roi des pirates est mis à mort par la marine du gouvernement mondial lors d'une execution publique, ses dernières paroles galvanisent les pirates du monde entier en les envoyant à la recherche du plus grand trésor existant : le One Piece.
Un gamin, passionné par la piraterie, veut devenir le roi des pirates en trouvant ce fameux trésor qui, 20 ans après l'exécution de son propriétaire est entré dans la légende. C'est son histoire très spéciale que nous suivrons.
Distribution
Très peu de têtes connues à part peut-être Craig Fairbrass et Vincent Regan. Mis à part le jeu du héros principal, j'ai trouvé l'ensemble bien joué. Pour l'acteur principal, je le trouve franchement caricatural, à l'excès. A vous de me dire si c'était une exigence du manga original que je n'ai jamais ni lu ni vu.
Mon avis
L'histoire en elle même est sympathique, un scénario qu'on peut dire fourni. On a des personnages forts, des camps pas forcément figés, bien que très caricaturés, même les bateaux sont très spéciaux.
Il faut, bien entendu, accepter d'être dans un monde imaginaire peuplé de créatures invraisemblables, et où les super pouvoirs sont légions. On trouve un grand nombre de personnages doués au-delà de la normale.
Laissez-vous bercer par une chasse au trésor des pirates, en branchant votre cerveau en mode ado rêveur et vous passerez un bon moment. Car oui, je l'avoue, malgré des moments "WTF" j'ai bien aimé un manga ... Même si plusieurs m'ont conseillé de skipper la version netflix pour prendre directement le manga original. J'ai gentiment décliné quand j'ai entendu le nombre d'épisodes qui existaient.
Mais au moins, je l'ai vu, et je ne le regrette pas, je sais, maintenant, de quoi il s'agit.
