Fulfill Destiny by harnessing the power of your Brain

Jumping right into science and understanding the ways our bodies work is a good way to embrace who we are. It's assuring to understand your body, as you can take any hit without being worked up. It's like checking in with your doctor on certain pills to take so you don't expose your body to certain illnesses especially if you have a terminal disease.

This is why reading Evolve your brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind by Joe Dispenza will be a life-changing decision for you. The author takes you through the various activities you find yourself doing right from the moment you wake up, get out of bed, get a coffee brewing, or step out of your door to work.

We already know that our brains do the remarkable activities that come naturally to us like blinking, swallowing, and even what our internal organs do like blood circulation, body temperature regulations, etc.

Reading from Joe has taught me that all of the activities I indulge in puts my brain to work, and sometimes use past activities to predict what will happen today. For instance, if I wake up and pick up a book first thing in the morning as I often do, my brain records that, and archives it for future mornings. Or if I wake up and move straight to my Hive account first to see if I have a red dot hovering over my profile or not. My brain takes cognizant of the things that I do and keeps track of them day in, day out. This helps me make good or bad choices depending on what I have exposed my brain to daily.

Even though our brain can do all these things, Joe, asks us to not think that Biology or history determines the outcome of our lives. Or what some people call, destiny. And the reason is that our brain is capable of adapting. So it doesn't matter if you had a past where you woke up to feelings of hurt, depression, and self-loathing which stopped you from positively experiencing the world, our brain can still change all of that if you choose to make the necessary amendments.

This you can understand by taking yourself down memory lane. Where humans have evolved and have continued to do so as every decade passes by. The fact that our brains have metamorphosed into an awesome organ from the past when humans lived in woods, wildlife, and no technology should tell you that you are capable of more things than you can possibly imagine.

This means you have the chance to work with your brain instead of against it. Knowing that you can train your brain to work to your benefit should be a stepping stone to shaping your destiny. You could train your brain to love exercising so you can stay fit. It could be trained to eat healthier. It could be trained to find motivation in work. Your brain can be trained to get excited about exploring any area of interest. You can even get rid of an addiction. All you have to do is effect the necessary changes by changing the things that you engage in. You replace the bad, and ugly with the good and beautiful ones.

Yes, changes can indeed be painful, and old habits die hard. But this doesn't mean you can't take destiny into your hands. You can! You might be uncomfortable or even have withdrawal symptoms. But if you pushed past all of those restrictions that you built over time in your brain, you can re-activate it to work in favor of your well-being.

If you feel this is near impossible, I want you to remember how people who had accidents often go through rehabilitation programs that at the beginning felt impossible to get their organs working again. And they always succeed.

Joe Dispenza acknowledges that by embracing the potential of neuroplasticity, our lives can be shaped and the future we desire can be attained. The whole lesson in this book is the fact that your brain is constantly changing depending on the data you feed into it.

Knowing this, you can decide tomorrow that you want a new skill, and you go right into it, taking your brain along, and becoming a master at it. By partnering with your brain, you can unlock a lot of potential that you probably weren't aware that you have. So, take Joe Dispenza by his words, and transform your brain and your mind.

Great article. Also reminds me of the "Growth Mindset". What we think will become. The brain and the mind, if used properly and proactively are very powerful. Needless to say, we have to take care of our brain but sometimes we disregard it or I disregard it. Drinking, lack of sleep and unhealthy foods are bad for the brain yet I still succumbed to them at times. Anyway, thanks for the nice read. !PGM

I love your contribution. As much as our brains takes care of us, we have to take care of it too by limiting the intake of things that affects it negatively. Thank you for that and for reading. I appreciate you ❣️
