The first time I had this drink, I just wanted to quench my thirst, it was steaming cold, and just the temperature I needed at the time. Subsequent times it was for fun, but the day I had this drink with the pies in the picture, I was not only hungry, but I was also weak and tired. And all I wanted to do was to finish everything and snooze. That's exactly what I did. I enjoyed the pair of meat pies, had the drink run through my throat, and had a deep sleep afterward.

Each 500ml serving of Monster Energy Original Green provides you with 884 kj- 207 kcal of energy. This is all thanks to its carbohydrate content of 53g. But be aware, it also contains 48g of sugars, and take it from someone who has taken it a couple of times, it's definitely a sweet treat.

If you are watching weight or your intake of fat, saturates, or protein, you have nothing to worry about, because they are present in small amounts.

Let's break down the ingredient list that makes this energy drink so powerful. They include carbonated water, sucrose, glucose syrup, and citric acid which contributes to its refreshing taste I guess. Natural flavorings add a delightful twist, while taurine, Panax ginseng root extract, L-carnitine L-tartrate, and caffeine combine to provide that much-needed energy boost. But I have had blue bullet a couple of times so I love the drink. On this day, I had this drink because my dad's friend bought them for us. My mom had the black, I had the blue, and Dad was given a whole bottle of Origin Bitters.

I'll show you that picture too as it's a part of this post. It was almost as though he was bribing my parents to get them to accept him as their in-law. It was funny, and we had fun talking about the possibility of the bribe working on my parents and the possibility of me saying no to the proposal. It was a fun evening.
