When there are six children, one more on the way, and daddy and mommy home, it's a lot of plates of food!

I brought home a watermelon the other day and I found a good price on chicken. Last night, mamma cooked up extra chicken for us to enjoy during the week. So a special lunch is in order: chicken and watermelon and macaroni salad.

I found an inexpensive toaster that toasts 4 slices of bread at a time. I got two of them so we can make enough toast for everyone with a single press.

Normally we use the oven to toast enough bread for everyone, but during the summer months it produces a lot of heat and uses a lot of electricity (and it's easy to burn the bread) so this should help speed up our toasting and make things easier.
