I have certain goals here on the blockchain and one of them is to maximize my ALIVE stake. This is because it increases daily dividend token rewards, grants me better curation rewards, grants me more influence in the ALIVE tribe (bigger upvotes) and increases the amount of ALIVEM I receive at the end of the week.

Last week I staked about 735 ALIVE tokens, which amounts to an average of over 100 ALIVE per day. That's a lot! I typically earn 20 - 30 daily, the rest I purchased from the market.

Buying ALIVE from the Market

ALIVE token is expensive, but not as expensive as it will be!!!

Although I do not believe ALIVE token has reached it's true value for today (which I estimate around 0.10 HIVE), it's still a big investment of HIVE to achieve a 700 ALIVE staking week. If I invest around 30 HIVE per week, I could maintain 700 ALIVE staking per week.

Burning ALIVE tokens

Then there's burning! Promoting posts for a chance to win ALIVEM tokens!

So in addition to maintaining daily staking, it's also good to regularly BURN alive tokens using the promote button. This not only gets your post more exposure, but it also earns tickets to possibly win ALIVEM tokens, which are very valuable.

Burning tokens on a quality post also could earn a nice ALIVE upvote, which helps offset the investment. But you have to HAVE ALIVE tokens to burn them, so there's that. :-)

Liquidity Pool

Then there's adding to the ALIVE liquidity pool!

The liquidity pool requires liquid ALIVE and ALIVEM tokens, which once added to the pool earn you a share of the fees when people use the SWAP feature between ALIVE/ALIVEM, and also earns daily rewards, determined by your percentage contribution to the pool.

I'm currently providing 16.7% liquidity to the pool and earning 1.3 BEE daily. That's about 1/2 a HIVE daily on the market or just about $0.20 per day.

$6.00 USD / month isn't too bad as a passive income!

Back to Staking

I'm tracking my growth of the ALIVE stake from last week, from 21,621.62 to 21,790.31. That's only 169 ALIVE increase! Not that impressive compare to last week.

To improve my stake increase, I'm doing what needs to be done: buying ALIVE from the market. Like I said before, I believe 0.065 is undervalued, as ALIVE token should be about 0.10 HIVE each and will be a lot more expensive later on. When I first started purchasing ALIVE, it was only 0.02!!

Buying and Staking ALIVE tokens!

So I took most of my liquid HIVE and purchased 200 more ALIVE tokens. I mostly purchased from @visualblock it is a fair exchange, although I think I benefited from the stake increase and the discounted price tag!

I wouldn't sell for less than 0.08 - 0.10 (unless I was in need of some quick HIVE).

I power up 200 ALIVE tokens to ALIVE POWER!

Now my ALIVE STAKE is just shy of 22,000.

Comparing from last week, it's an increase of 379, perhaps a bit higher (from comments and curation rewards) once the next weekly snapshot is taken.

Putting Money Where My Mouth Is

I don't often make posts like these, because I prefer to DO rather than TELL. But occasionally, I like to encourage others the various OPTIONS available to them with their ALIVE tokens.

I opt to stake primarily, add to the pool secondarily, then burn as a final option. They're all great, I love doing all, but these are the priorities. A fourth option is selling, but there would have to be some very good bids for me to sell my ALIVE tokens!

I don't just want to give my opinion about the token, but show that I'm willing to exchange my earned HIVE for ALIVE token too!
