The night before the prom, Jill sat at her vanity brushing her long, dark hair. She had spent days finding the perfect dress, shoes, and accessories, but she was still feeling uninspired. She wished there was something key she was missing that could make her complete the perfect prom look. Suddenly she heard a voice.

'Paint my face,' it said.

Jill jumped in surprise and looked around. Suddenly a figure stepped out the shadows. It was her grandmother, dressed in a long, flowing dress. Her face was full of wisdom and kindness.

'Grandma?' Jill said, 'What are you doing here?'

'I came to give you some advice I learned through my years of experience,' her grandmother said. 'I know you feel like something is missing from your outfit, but the answer is right in front of you. Paint my face.'

Jill studied her grandmother's face and realized the secret to her youthful appearance. She had been using makeup to enhance her natural beauty.

Jill thanked her grandmother and picked out a few small items of makeup to use for her prom look. She carefully applied her makeup and was stunned at how different she looked. Her grandmother had been right - painting her face was the perfect finishing touch.

Jill smiled at her reflection and thanked her grandmother once more. Her grandmother brushed a strand of hair out of her face and said, 'You look beautiful my dear. Now, go and have a wonderful night.'

Jill smiled as she thanked her grandmother and grabbed her purse. She was ready for her night, and had her grandmother to thank for the beautiful look.
