I ATTENDED A SPORT FIESTA (ENG/ESP)

It's been over two months since we had our sport fiesta and I'm yet to share how it went with all my followers here on hive. So today I'm going to be sharing a little thing on how that day went. Fiesta is a Spanish word which means party (just in case you don't know). We had our sport fiesta July 2023 and it took us quite a lot of planning to finally hold that party. I love to call them my family because that's what they are. It was my first time joining them for a sport party so I didn't participate much in the activities but I did get some pictures of their happy faces.

Before the day for the sport party, it rained heavily that my street was completely flooded and I was devastated and confused on how to get to the venue on time. I had planned to go with my sister too and that also happened to be a setback for me because my sister had a lot of things to do before she would be able to join me. She makes wears for people and she had an urgent work that day to deliver, so she had to finish that first before we could go for the sport party.

Well, I was a bit nervous because that was going to be my first time of attending that kind of party and that was why I didn't want to go alone, so I had to wait for my sister to finish her work. It was already noon and we were still at home, I was already losing the interest of going but then my sister told me she was almost done and I should be a little patient. I had no choice so I was patient and finally, we were ready!

When we got to the venue for the sport party, a lot of sports have been carried out but at least we got to watch the marathon race for the guys and also some indoor games that were played. It was fun to watch because there was this one persistent guy in the marathon race who sustained a moderate pace throughout the whole race, it was incredible! It was my first time seeing him run and I was amazed. I got to find out later that he was an athlete and then I understood why he could be so good, hehe.

We played a whole lot of other games but then I only got a photo of few of them. We had different teams and these teams played against themselves on different occasions. There was the game of chess where they had different rounds until one team finally emerged as the winner.

There was also the ludo game which was quite fun because there was this lady who won all the different teams that she competed with, she was damn good and I guess luck was on her side too.

There was also scrabble word game which was also fun, it was obvious that those guys are really good at it because they all did brilliantly well.

There were other games like monopoly, card games and so on but I don't have a photo of those. We also did some other random things like quiz which was the only thing I could participate in and I was happy I did, hehe. I also ended up in the serving department because more hands were needed to serve foods to the guests present.

I had so much fun at the sport party but then I wished I had gone there early enough to witness all the games and participate in all the fun. Well, I'm looking forward to the next sport party and I hope to participate fully in it if that time ever comes.

Han pasado más de dos meses desde que tuvimos nuestra fiesta deportiva y todavía tengo que compartir cómo fue con todos mis seguidores aquí en Hive. Así que hoy voy a compartir un poco sobre cómo fue ese día. Fiesta es una palabra española que significa fiesta (en caso de que no lo sepas). Tuvimos nuestra fiesta deportiva en julio de 2023 y nos tomó mucha planificación poder finalmente realizar esa fiesta. Me encanta llamarlos mi familia porque eso es lo que son. Era la primera vez que me unía a ellos en una fiesta deportiva, así que no participé mucho en las actividades, pero sí obtuve algunas fotografías de sus caras felices.

Antes del día de la fiesta deportiva, llovió mucho y mi calle quedó completamente inundada y estaba devastada y confundida sobre cómo llegar a tiempo al lugar. Yo también había planeado ir con mi hermana y eso también resultó ser un revés para mí porque mi hermana tenía muchas cosas que hacer antes de poder acompañarme. Ella hace ropa para la gente y ese día tenía un trabajo urgente que entregar, así que tuvo que terminarlo primero antes de que pudiéramos ir a la fiesta deportiva.

Bueno, estaba un poco nerviosa porque iba a ser la primera vez que asistía a ese tipo de fiesta y por eso no quería ir sola, así que tuve que esperar a que mi hermana terminara su trabajo. Ya era mediodía y todavía estábamos en casa, ya estaba perdiendo el interés de ir pero entonces mi hermana me dijo que ya casi había terminado y que debía tener un poco de paciencia. No tuve otra opción, así que tuve paciencia y finalmente ¡estábamos listos!

Cuando llegamos al lugar de la fiesta deportiva, se habían practicado muchos deportes, pero al menos pudimos ver la carrera de maratón para los muchachos y también algunos juegos bajo techo que se jugaron. Fue divertido verlo porque había un tipo persistente en la carrera de maratón que mantuvo un ritmo moderado durante toda la carrera, ¡fue increíble! Era la primera vez que lo veía correr y quedé asombrado. Después descubrí que era deportista y entonces entendí por qué podía ser tan bueno, jeje.

Jugamos muchos otros juegos, pero solo obtuve una foto de algunos de ellos. Teníamos diferentes equipos y estos equipos jugaron entre sí en diferentes ocasiones. Estaba el juego de ajedrez en el que tenían diferentes rondas hasta que finalmente un equipo emergía como ganador.

También estaba el juego de ludo, que fue bastante divertido porque había una señora que ganó todos los diferentes equipos con los que compitió, era muy buena y supongo que la suerte también estuvo de su lado.

También hubo un juego de palabras de scrabble que también fue divertido, era obvio que esos muchachos son muy buenos en eso porque a todos les fue genial.

Había otros juegos como Monopoly, juegos de cartas, etc., pero no tengo fotos de ellos. También hicimos otras cosas al azar, como un cuestionario, que era lo único en lo que podía participar y me alegré de haberlo hecho, jeje. También terminé en el departamento de servicio porque se necesitaban más manos para servir la comida a los invitados presentes.

Me divertí mucho en la fiesta deportiva, pero luego deseé haber ido lo suficientemente temprano para presenciar todos los juegos y participar en toda la diversión. Bueno, estoy esperando con ansias la próxima fiesta deportiva y espero participar plenamente en ella si algún día llega ese momento.
