HOW TO BUILD A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP ON HIVE (CONT'D)

InShot_20230114_162453670.jpg

In my last post on HOW TO BUILD A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP ON HIVE, I said some few things in what you and I could do to build a healthy relationship and I also promised to share more with us which I'm going to be doing on this blog. Building a relationship is not hard but then building an healthy relationship is. Here on hive we have seen so many testimonies of how having healthy relationships has helped a lot of people and how they also advise others to build one too.

Here on hive we all need each other to survive, we need ourselves to achieve the best here and that's to tell us that on our own we won't go far here. In the real world, I most times feel like that's the only place I need people and I even still feel I don't really need them but coming to Hive, I realized that building a healthy relationship is vital for one's general well-being. So, I will be giving us more tips to build a healthy relationship here on hive.

Show up every day (consistency)

Here on Hive consistency is one thing you need to build a healthy relationship, people love it when you make them part of your priority. For me, I love it when I see a particular person or people always coming around my blogs, leaving their comments and all, it puts a smile on my face and most times I want to get to know more about them and through that way I've made quite some amazing friends here, I've built a relationship that I think will last for a really long time.

Try as much as you can not to be off and on, when you want to build a relationship an healthy one to be precise, you have to make sure to bring something to the table every time as much as you can, it helps strengthens that relationship and that also applies to Hive too. I don't know for others but I know that I like it when I see people give their best even when they have nothing to benefit from what they do, that alone draw me to them like a magnet, hehe.

Be Hardworking and persistent

I think these two words mostly go together, consistent and persistent so I won't try to separate them this time around too. As a Hive user who wants the best from the platform, I will advise you to learn how to be persistent no matter what. Here on hive it is not all rosy, there are thorns too and if you are not careful they will hurt you so badly that it would be hard for you to continue your journey here. Remember most of these users are humans and they live in the real world too and they have their different perspectives of things, so when things starts getting sour, don't feel discouraged to give up because that might just end up being what you've been working hard for.

Here on hive you work for what you want, nothing comes to you without hard work or smart work, you either have a healthy relationship or you have the stamina to build one if you truly want to grow healthy on the blockchain. I think it is almost impossible to grow here with having a good relationship with other users, so if you know you are a someone that doesn't like mingling with people I think that will change once you know Hive, hehe.

Be welcoming

You have to be welcoming of course if not it won't just work. To build a healthy relationship, the effort has to come from both sides to make it work. Most people feel free with others because they are welcoming, for example, when discussing with someone and you notice they seem disinterested in whatever you are saying, next time you won't want to discuss anything with them and vice versa. When we are welcoming, it gives room for us to build a healthy relationship.

I've tried my best to make myself very understandable but then if you have any questions and contributions please don't hesitate to drop them at the comment section below, I'd truly appreciate them.

Until next time, stay AWESOME!!!

Hmm. this is a very valid point. To build a healthy relationship with someone, showing up every day, and commenting on the person's post keeps you in the mind of the author that way you get recognized by the person.

So it is not easy, so being persistent would keep one standing. Hive is not easy I must say, and it is hard work not something that comes so easily.

Weldone Hope... great content here...

I must say you are the last person I was expecting to stop by today but here you are, I'm happy to see a comment from you 😌. And you have said it all, hive is not easy, we all have to know that. It becomes even harder when we don't have good relationships with people.

I'm happy you find it great, I truly appreciate your feedback 🙏.

Lol. yeah I can be very busy outside of Hive and would not have time to go around checking up but at my free time, I do try to go around to engage.

I must say you are the last person I was expecting to stop by today

My inactiveness on Hive has cost me my relationship with people. So I can relate very well

It becomes even harder when we don't have good relationships with people.

Yeah I know that, I'm just surprised to see you at this time, I know you like waking up early to do your engagement, hehe.

Hmm, I can understand a little why you said that but not fully 🙂.

These are another side of this topic you started the other day. Building a healthy relationship in hive have given a lot of people nice growth. Visiting some your favourite writers more often is a great way to maintain a relationship, with that , they will always have you in their heart for support in any way possible. And of course consistency, very important daily. Being welcoming is everything oo, if you are the the type that doesn't welcome me, you won't see me in ur blog or home 😂

Thank you so much for this amazing tips..I got value 😊👍👌

You have digested my article very well and I love how you explained everything even better than I did, hehe.

I was just smiling until I got towards the end which made me laugh, those people that are not welcoming it will be really hard for them to build any relationship with people.

I'm happy you got value from me, I also got more from your your beautiful contribution, thank you so much for stopping by ❤️

The consistency part😭 I try to be around. I really try. Sometimes life's challenges just mess me up and I can't write. Sometimes pressure from school, sometimes data will just finish. I feel so sad to be seeing myself not write anything or engage with other writers for a while. I am waking up today! Let's see how I can rise over all these limitations this year.

Thank you for sharing dear. Did I say happy new year to you already? Happy new year dear😁❤️

Oh my dear! I can totally understand how real the struggle is but then it's what we all will face at some point of our hive journey. We just have to keep trying and pushing it because it's never going to get all easy.

I'm so happy you have been encouraged and motivated to do better this year, just keep trying, I'm sure you will get it right.

When I see encouraging posts like this it sounds like a wake up call for me and a way of putting more effort as a blogger on the Hive blockchain.
This thing is not easy especially when you have a busy schedule on a daily basis. We would keep trying our best. Thanks for sharing.

You're absolutely right, it's not easy to keep up with this but knowing that this is what you need to do is something and you can work with that.

Thank you so much for your contribution, I'm truly grateful.

Consistency seems to be difficult for a newbie but with time it becomes easier for everyone. But sometimes because of the busier lifestyle, it turns into a challenging task. It's challenging but not impossible and for that reason, we all should try to make it possible.

Nothing good comes easy as they say and Hive is something good and we shouldn't expect it to be easy, hehe. You are right, we should make it possible because it is possible to show up here every day despite our busyness in the real world.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your contribution, it's very much appreciated partner 😊

I think I read the first part and you have done a good job with the continuity.

Consistency is a great deal on hive, I have experimented it and it is true. When your engagement is high, you get lots of engagement but the moment you reduce it, the same thing happens to how people engage with you.

You're absolutely right, although there are other things that determine people who engage on our blogs but that is the major one.

Thank you so much for reading this also, it's a great pleasure having you around 🥰

I was telling someone the other day that Hive's most valuable asset is the people. Without people, you can't do much. You said something that struck me. I am the type that's always alone. I am not a social person and it is affecting me but I am working on it. Because even in life, we need people.

That's right dear, the value of people in our lives is so important and yes we know some are not trustworthy at all but then that doesn't mean we do not need them, we just have to be harmless and wise.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your contribution, I wish you all the best in mingling more with people

You are absolutely right bro but what about people that work during the day how can we cope with the relationship when we have to stay at work all day and it's our free time we always make use for engagement

Any advice for us

One beautiful thing about hive is that it does not require you to be here always but then, when you are here what do you do? I do know of a lot of people here that don't get a lot of time at their disposal but when they are here you feel their impact somehow.

So my advice to you is, even with your busy schedule, try to make a post everyday or 5 times in a week and make sure to reply to the comments on them, I think that will go a long way.

And most importantly, don't feel pressured, it you can't, leave it for when you can

I don't think one can be alone on Hive because you will not enjoy your stay. You have to make friends, stretch your legs and build connection through your consistency and persistence; it helps a lot!

I also feel connected to people on hive when I read from them often. The connection transcends pen and paper. It feels like you start to know them. That's how much effect the community has and it is definitely a way to go.
