Reflecting Over My Last Month

Happy mid-week friends. It's another edition of hive learners weekly contest for week #109 edition 2. I want to take this special time to celebrate everyone in this amazing community and I wish you all well.

For this edition I will be telling you in brief how my the month of March which was last month went. The month of March started on a very busy not and ended in a sad mood.

First week, my children where so busy preparing for their exams which was scheduled to take place from the first week in the month, so I had to give them some time out of my schedule to prepare them for the examination. Immediately after the exams break started and it was so demanding because daily I had to be home with the kids. Fast forward to day 10th of the month we celebrated Mother Sunday in my Church... The celebration came with some events which we had to carry out before the main day. The children's second term break started on the 15th of last month and will end my 15th of this month and it has been from one event to another. My son's result was not so impressive so I decided to give him some time so we can go over the places he is facing some sort of challenge. I noticed that he has problem with numbers, so I used every method possible within me to coach him and now he is doing better too. Also, I helped to familiarize with two letters and three letters word...then his class teacher also asked I help him in writing, you know children find it difficult to write in a straight line and a times the writing is too small or too big but for this break there has been a big improvement.

Down to the last week of the month between 27th to 31st of the month I was able to visit a community for an outreach which was so impactful. The community is not so far from my place of residence. The community have lots of youths who don't know how to read or write. This made my heart ache because when one don't know how to read or write he will be so limited in so many ways and that's not so good in this present age we are in. One can sale off his father's land without knowing because he don't know how to read and write.

Reading on the last day of the month we were trying our best to rest and a terrible news came to end the month. Just in the afternoon, we were called that my husband's Uncle was gone and that was the news that so destabilized us. The pain was that he was so sick and was not able to explain to anyone how he felt till his demise. Till the first week of this month as if there was a continuation of the month. Just 48 hours after the death of our uncle, our uncle's wife died too and it was more heart breaking because this woman in question was preparing for the daughters wedding.

The month was fine but it ended in a bad light and I pray that this kind of thing does not happen to anyone around me or to us again because it really caused pain to us all.

This is my entry to the hive learners contest. Thank you so much for visiting my blog.

You have busy days and still you talk about it normally as it’s normal but to me you look very hard working and ambitious about everything you do.
