Essential Tools for Seamless Interaction and Progress Tracking on Hive

Hive is a place which has space for everyone. Its like a big ocean which has the capabilities to take all in him. People need to find the place suitable for them as per their interest (on hives its communities). Be a artist who loves to play with colors or the sounds, be a gamer or a blogger you will find the place for everyone. Hive is mostly known as the web3 social media platform but its more then that, its a gaming platform also, its place to show cast your drawings skills or singing skills.
Their are some other tools on Hive blockchain which are not for the blogging purpose but they are made your journey on Hive easy, smooth and good traceability of progress. I love to mentioned two tools on Hive blockchain, I used everyday to check my progress and the to make transection on hive - first is Keychain and other one is hivestats.io .

To interact on Hive blockchain we made transections and all the transections are free and took seconds to complete. Each action on Hive blockchain like posting, commenting, upvoting etc by any front end requires the users permission to perform the particular activity. These permissions may be granted using the Keys or passwords. The Hive blockchain has four keys or passwords which used to perform different level of transections. The firth way is to use those keys directly and putting the keys in different dapps or you can use a single dapp ie KEYCHAIN which has all the keys and other dapps interact on blockchain though the Keychain. You do not have to put the keys again and again or different frontends or dapps to perform the action.

Its and extension which is available for all leading web browsers and also has IOS and Android application. After installation you have to enter the passwords to open the app followed by the account name and the keys for the username.

The installation is easy and the account setup is very simple and easy. Once you setup then no need to enter the keys if using the compatible dapp. Most of the dapps has the option for login using the keychain option. In am using the extension every day on laptop as well as on the mobile also. The main page of the extension give you the good insight of your account like the Hive Power you are holding along with the HBD and liquid Hive in your account. If you scroll down it also hives the information about the second layer token in your account.

It also give the facility to swap your Hive into other second layer token or the one second layer token to some other second layer token. The give the easy option to swap the tokens.
Following are the main features of the Hive Keychain extension :

• It can store more then one account keys
• Users can view the account balance like voting mana, resource balance, hive power Liquid power, HBD and total estimated account value.
• Users can transfer Hive, HBD, Power up or down
• Users can delegate/undelegated HP or update the delegation
• User can manage the witness vote
• User can manage the second layer token
• Give the facility to securely interact with Hive based websites.

Putting efforts to grow on platform and checking progress on platform weekly or month basis gives the confidence to users and helps to achieve the target or milestones. One such very nice tool is Hivestats.io which helps to track and check the progress on hive.
The tool is developed by the @Inleo aka @leofinance team which is itself is one of the most active project on Hive. Below is the screenshot form the main page of the website.

Once you enter the user name it will show the different stats of the account like Vote value and the voting percentage, Curation APR, Author
& Curation rewards over the past week and month and even the per days.

Scroll down to find more information of account like effective Hive Power, total hive power, received and outgoing delegation, resource credits etc.

My most favorite part is the graphical representation of account progress over the week and month. You can switch between the week or monthly view.

I used both the tools every day and they make my journey on hive easy and comfortable. If you have not explored those tools then yu must give them a try.
