Visiting The Residence Place In Purok Sampaguita Calangahan, And a Food Trip Activities

This was my first time to visit this residential place here in Zone Sampaguita Located in Calangahan, Lugait Misamis Oriental. Actually this is not really a part of my plan to visit, but because it was urgent and it really needs to be there for having an important meetings, that is why I decided to go in the place. Purok or Zone Sampaguita is located near at the coastal areas were blue seas and winds can feel and seen. Houses are made of concretes and light materials and they really built it perfectly so that it wont easily destroyed by the strong wind.

There are only few coconut trees can be seen here because the place was already filled with houses and other kinds of structures.

These are the houses built in the place and most of it are built in solid concrete. There are few stores that can help to all people or residents here to buy their needs instantly without going to far places just like Super Market. This Road is made of concrete, and it can be easily to walk and passes by here without getting muddy or dusty. The residents here also owned different kinds of vehicles just like motorcycles, trucks and cars. It helps them for their transportation activities and carrying their goods. The place also runs with electricity and it will be a great challenge for the electric cooperatives everytime when there is a strong typhoons and rains happens here.

One of the main source of income of some residents here are fishing, in fact they also owned this small boats used for fishing every 5 In the afternoon. They set sail to the sea and started to put their nets into the water and wait for how many hours. This is very challenging to them especially when there is a rough waves, strong winds and lack of fish they catch. Everytime when there is a typhoon or any bad weather phenomenon, they will put their boats or bangka to higher place away from big waves so thag it wont flash away. I really amazed of the place I went and after a few hours of meeting and having a proper conversation, I hurriedly went back to our rest house so that I can rest for a while, and do a food travel by afternoon.

Food Trip Time:

5 PM when me and my partner decided to went to the Super market to buy something. This is a kind of perfect time for a stroll because there is no heat and many kinds of delicious street foods can be choose to eat. As we arrived at the place, We proceed in this stool were many kinds of delicious dish served. Each kinds of dish costs very expensive but it is very worth it because of the delicious taste. We brought Ginataang Langka for 50 pesos per served, and this is perfect for dinner.

Fish balls, Tempura, Siomai are some of the most popular street foods here in our town, and it always displayed every afternoon. Many people especially the students loves to eat this kind of snacks. This glass of fish ball is cost 10 pesos per glass, while the siomai costs at about 20 Pesos for 3 pieces. Tempura also cost 15 pesos for 3 pieces and the sauce is very delicious.

Fried chicken is also delicious, there are lots of vendors sell this kind of food and it cost 15, 20 and 45 pesos depends on the classic. We brought chicken feet for 20 Pesos and it is perfect for dinner. Sometimes, chicken feet are always sold out but yesterday we are very lucky to brought more of it.

We also stopped in this store were there are lots of slippers and sandals displayed. My partner wants to buy a pair of new slippers that is why we stopped for a moment here. We look for a slipper that has a good quality and designs and after that, we proceed to look for any empty passenger vehicle. It is really perfect and enjoyable by walking here, we can see lots of delicious foods and snacks and there are lots of good products we can choose.
