Good morning to all of us, we can see beautiful scenery in any place and it can give us relaxation and happiness in ourselves. For this blog, I want to share with you my visit to one of the popular places here in Manticao, the Museum de Manticao. It is located in Barangay Pagawan under the jurisdiction of Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This is my second time visiting the Place. I have already shared with our community about the old things that are displayed here because it is a Museum. Now, on my second visit here, what I will share again is their Beautiful garden. It was exactly 8 o'clock this morning when I thought of visiting this place again. I traveled from Barangay Punta Silum to here for about 50 minutes.

This is the first to be seen here in such an area, sacks placed on the side of the road. The garden I went to likes to use organic fertilizers so the planting of plants here is very simple. These Blue-colored shoes are planted with organic soil to grow vegetables such as ampalaya, okra and sweet potato peels. It's a good way to move easily and keep the soil soft because of the organic soil it contains. Almost 150 sacks are placed here and various types of vegetables have been planted. It also makes the place attractive because of its bright colors.

The other sacks are filled with manure and holes are made in the side so that vegetables and other types of plants can grow there. This is good so that the soil does not dry out immediately due to the intense heat experienced here in our area. It's also a great way to keep plants healthy and from drying out. It is also easy to replace with soil because it is just contained in the bag.

This is one of the decorations that can be found here in the Birds nest organic garden, the ones that can be found inside the area are listed here. This is good so that people who want to visit it don't have a hard time finding it. Here are the list written in this wooden planks:

  • Correos-Rebuta Ancestral House
  • Mindanaw Arboretum
  • Museu de Manticao
  • Pakbet and Magic Sarap Gardens
  • Garden comfort room
  • Man-made forest
  • Forest classroom
  • Butterfly garden
  • Yoga station

Next I went to their BEE Farm where you can see the boxes containing the Bees. This is where the bees hide with their Honey and to keep from getting hot, the owner puts a roof, protection from the intense heat. Each wooden box is pierced with small holes for the bees to enter. It is also placed in a relatively high place so that children or animals cannot destroy it.

This is the plantation of sweet potato peels and spinach vegetables. The cultivated land is made into a plot to preserve the soft soil here. In order not to be directly heated by the sun, they also put nets, it also helps when there is heavy rain and does not damage the newly grown plants. Others are bagged and placed in one place so that it is not difficult to water the plants. Some recycled planting materials such as empty plastic bottles can also be seen here. There are also banana stems that they use to fertilize the soil.

Here, sweet potatoes are planted in a wide area, the soil is tilled so that the sweet potatoes can be easily planted and the crops can be easily harvested.

Some of the items found here are recycled materials and other plants are placed on them. Some of these are the tube and empty plastic cups. It is designed to be more attractive to look at and holes are drilled in the side for plants to grow there. To make it more attractive to look at, they are hung in the same place and in a pyramid shape for easy watering. There are empty styro foams that are poured on its surface to plant vegetables. I was totally amazed by what I saw here in the organic garden of the bird's nest. I was successful in going to this place and it added to my knowledge about gardening including its methods. Thanks for visiting and reading my post, have a nice day everyone.
