Wednesdaywalk on drizzly day

It had been a while since I did a blog post for @tattoodjay's #WednesdayWalk

It has not been very good weather here in the Netherlands recently. It has been raining a lot since Christmas.
Today I was off to the office to work the days between Christmas and New Year.
The office is pretty deserted during these days.
When it was finally dry for once during lunch, I quickly checked the rain radar app to see how long it would stay dry.
When I saw that it would stay dry for at least half an hour, I took the gamble and went for a walk.

I took a short walk through the residential area near the office. The residential area has a lot of greenery, trees and ponds and bridges.
It always looks beautiful in summer, but it looks a bit sad in winter.

And the trees are not very cooperative either. Along the ponds, there are especially many weeping willows.

When the trees are full of leaves, you don't see the apartment buildings to well while walking through the neighbourhood, but now that the trees are bare, they stand out a lot.

Nevertheless, I had a nice walk and I got some fresh air.
I hope you enjoyed it too.

Photographing is my passion. Although I like photography in general, nature photography is one of my favourite subjects. I often go out with my camera for a hike to capture the beauty of nature.

Still decent shots :) Btw I was away for some time and had to skip my Nature Photography challenge last week (for the first time ever) so I´m going to pick the winners from the last round today and I just figured I only have two entries there so feel free to submit any of these pictures in there, it´s a sure win :D ;)

Love the scenic shots and has that nice autumish vibe to that, although it's winter.

I'm in America and there are very few countries I would like to visit and The Netherlands is definitely one of them.
