Our DIY Preparations For Our Civil Wedding

Hope all is good and safe😘😘😘

This past few days my Man and I are so busy walking the documents of our upcoming "Civil Wedding". Were already 6 years as boyfriend and girlfriend. So bought of us thought that it's already the right time for us to be united us one.

So the time that we went to Philippine Statistics Authority we decided to take a cenomar too. Our thoughts that time, while waiting for it, is only to prepared it so that if we want to get married we will no longer get it in PSA.

But the moment we recieved it, we talk and decided right away to get married even it's only a Civil Wedding. Both of us agreed to it. So as we got home that day, we went to there place and talk to his mother and father about our plan. Both of them agreed too. We explain the details, that it's only a simple wedding.

What's important is that, we will be united officially. I told my family both parties, about it and they are also okay with it because they said that we are already on tue right age.

So the next thing we do is to visit the Local Government Unit Registrar's Office and asked about the requirements. As we saw the requirements, were happy because we already have all of it. So we said that we will be back on the next day for the application.

So my man and I talk about who will be our Godmother and Godfather for our wedding. Thanks God that in finding of our Godmother and Godfather is so easy. Our Godfather was my man's First Cousin and our Godmother was one of our Librarian When we were in College. We talk to them and were glad they said sure.

On the following day we went back to the Local Government Unit to filled up the application for marriage. The payment is $16.4. And after we filled up, the registrar's personnel told us to set a schedule to the mayor's office and asked the secretary of the mayor if the mayor is available on the date that we set. And thankfully he is available. So were all set and we will be coming back on the said day.

But still I'm busy. This moment of my life was so special, so I want everything to be special that is why in every details, even it's so simple, because we don't have a budget, And I dont want it as hendrance to make our special day an elegant one. And for your information I'm making all the preparations and ofcourse with the help of man and our family as a "DIY (Do It Yourself)" thing.

So my cousin helped me bought some materials that I will be needed in making our "Backdrop". We are so lucky that day because some of the materials specifically the flowers are 50% off.

And earlier I am starting making the decorations to be put on the backdrop curtain. And before I forgot I am also thankful to the girlfriend of my man's younger brother in presenting of making our "invatation card".

And so that's it. I think I need more time in preparing all of this. So I am sorry if some of this days I will not be here. But I will be keep on updating you later if I'm not busy.
