My savings report for Saturday Savers Week 34

It's Monday, a bit unusual day for me to write #SaturdaySavers post, but it’s Bank Holiday here in UK today and also my last day visiting my friend up North and while she’s away collecting her new summer house, I have some spare time to look at my savings progress.

Week #34 has just ended yesterday, but since for me it’s still the weekend, I’ll be reporting my figures for week 34 still.

Without a further ado, let’s jump to the figures!

2023 LP and Newborn Cub status

My Leo Power is well on the way to complete my goal of 2023 LP by the end of this year. Both of my accounts are relatively active on #threads Maybe not as active as previous month, when I was conducting my little experiment.

From that month I concluded it is totally possible to reach 150 Leo per month if I am very active on #threads The activity does need to be quite high though and this past month I have been away a few times and didn’t have as much time to thread.

Nonetheless, on August 15th, I powered up 183 Leo for LPUD, which is more than my planned minimum of 166 to achieve the target. My total LP is now 1387 and 636 Leo’s left to complete my goal.

New goal 2500 HP

Lowering my goal of 5565 HP to 2500 was definitely needed. Not that I gave up on my Dolphin status alltogether, I just came to terms with the fact that it won’t be this year.

As I write this report today, my total is currently 1474 HP. That's 163HP increase since last report, which was 6 weeks ago.

I still need to work on this a bit more, as I should be adding on average 50 HP weekly in order to reach my goal by the end of this year, but looking at the figure above it’s only half of what I should be adding. I am hoping to add 100 HP on this coming #HPUD which should bump up my figures nicely, but I should really kick my own ass and start writing more on my main account, so I don’t need to resort to sending hive from this alt, which was purely made for my LeoFinance content and all my earning were meant to fund my LP goal.

To think that at first it was the opposite - I was buying Leo on my main account to be able to participate in LPUDs every month. This alt has a life of its own now. Since last report there is an increase of 160 HP which is more than my main account, considering that this one doesn’t get HPUD boost like my main.

365 days HBD savings

On pause.

While this goal is on hold for now, I still add a few HBD every now and then and since my last report, 6 weeks ago I have added 12.5 HBD for a total of 36.21 HBD in my savings today.

I’m not sure what I was thinking when setting so many goals for this year. I wasn’t very realistic back then, but for the next year I will be setting the goals armed with the experience of the whole year on Hive and hopefully my goals won’t need readjusting during the year. After all it’s easier and more satisfying to adjust them upwards than downwards 😁

365 days GBP savings

My 365 days goal in my local currency is still doing well. I’m not sure what the figure is exactly for this week, but I open my secret saving place every now and again and top it up according to my savings sheet.

I need to guard those savings, cause I started work in my garden and my general savings are melting fast, but hopefully I won’t need to reach to my secret place to fund this.

Now let’s look at the overall table of my savings.

Goals summary including L2 tokens

My #ALIVE goal has been completed in the first half of this year and that sure was a good feeling to complete the goal ahead of time. Since then I set the sams goal for my alt account and in 2 months since setting it I am already almost halfway through to completing it with my current stake of 484 AP. Participating in weekly staking contest helped tremendously, as well as transferring all my liquid ALIVE token from the main to this alt.

I won one extra EDSMM token for voting in the Author of the week poll on #threads and by commenting on SaturdaySavers post that I did.

Bear in mind that you need to be registered for Saturday savers club in order to be able to win EDSMM for your vote.

My #POB stake although no goal was set, also increased nicely by 182 since last report. I decided not to set a goal for it, but I'm tracking the progress nonetheless. I’m happy to see some curation rewards coming in regularly from my stake of 1202 POB tokens.

My LOH tokens reached over 100 last time I reported, making it possible for me to use LADY tipping command. Since last report there are 5.5 extra tokens in my wallet and should really pay more attention to the weekly prompts in #ladiesofhive community to increase that stake even more.

My newly added goal of 10 000 BBH was already fulfilled last time I reported, but since then I purchased some more for a total of 12120. Every little helps with the LEO drips that @bradleyarrow announced a few weeks ago on top of weekly swap.hive drips. I hear that since last week we will also be receiving ALIVE drips.

And indeed, as I check my ALIVE wallet, I can see 0.5 extra from BBH bot.

This week drip for my 12k BBH was 0.058 Leo.
