Happy HPUD and Happy New Year everyone 🥂

Well, Happy 2024 Hivers!

I really didn’t think I’ll be writing this post today. In fact, I trusted myself so much, that I Powered up my 10 Hive soon after midnight. Just in case I repeated the May situation… came back from the congress and went straight to sleep forgetting it was the Power Up Day!

Guilt trips are no fun. I wouldn’t recommend those for anyone, but occassionally I learn a thing or two from those and this time round I was prepared for whatever happens 😂🥳🥂

Just before falling asleep after NYE party, I Powered Up the minimum to get the badge, as that’s all I had in my wallet without making any additional transactions and I hope this year will see me collecting all 12 of them!

For those of you who might be new to Power Up Day - there are prizes for participants and I’m happy to be one of the sponsors for the lucky numbers 7 and 27. I find great pleasure when I see familiar faces landing on one of those numbers 😁

In short, the requirements to be considered for the prizes are:

I took the screenshot of my wallet just before Powering Up, to make a note of my HP stash at the end of 2023 and that number is 2063 HP. Plus another 627 HP on my alt account for a total of 2697 HP. Good, bad? It’s number 🤷🏻‍♀️ Much bigger number than a year ago and that’s all what counts!

I was also organised enough to take screenshots from Hive Buzz website to note all the stats of both of my accounts at the end of 2023. My alt account published almost twice as many long form posts as the main one205 vs 111, while main one earned almost twice as much as the alt 2047 vs 1041. This is mainly due to Actifit reports I post on my alt quite frequently. These take me much less time than composing a long form on my main account.

Only now did I think to take the screenshots of both of the profiles with reputation and followers. Very similar numbers in terms of reputation - 67 on the main and 64 on my alt. While followers/following are 246/210 and 66/89.

While checking these stats on a monthly basis doesn’t feel necessary, seeing the growth from one year to another will surely be nice.

So without much delay, I wish all of you a Happy Power Up day and a wonderful year of 2024 that just started today! My friends and I said bye to 2023 in style (well, in tracksuit bottoms 😂)

and greeted New Year a little tired after partying hard for 2 nights 😂 In my Actifit report I promised I’ll make more effort dressing up for Sunday and so I replaced my tracksuit bottoms and slippers with jumpsuit and heels! I danced much less though, as my feet couldn’t take anymore.

Bad havit still very much present here and I don’t wanna see it again celebrating the arrival of 2025. It has to go! Maybe in February 😉

Thinking back one year… I was celebrating on a much bigger high, extatic and full of hope and energy. This year, I cebrated more consciously and feeling like I’ve grown so much yet there is so much more to do, to improve. I’m not expecting roses and red carpets, but I do really want to fall in love in life again in 2024 😍
