The longing in our souls
The longing in our soul is the first fire that drives
In the depth of our heart where no one can reach
It searches to and fro for solution far and near
A yearning that never faint, a passion so strong
It's the whisper in the darkness, the pain in our flesh
A sense of emptiness that desires to be fill
Its the dream that we chase, not minding fate
The longing to be loved and made whole
Let our soul cry, let our bones ache
The flame is nothing compared to the desire it long for
A larger story, a greater plan
A purpose that will wash away the lasting pain
The longing in our soul is the spark that make us shine
Like the firmament it shines down until all world can see
It's the essense of our being, the core of our existence
The longing is the passion that can't be denied.
