Anyone for tennis?

This evening I took a walk to my daughter's place to watch Newcastle football team play Manchester City in the Carabao cup. They won 1:0. 😀

It was a pleasant walk as the weather was so mild and dry. I passed a floodlit tennis court where there were a few people enjoying a game in the evening warmth.

I spotted a few bats flying around the sports field on my way to the supermarket for some beers 🍻.

I enjoyed walking out in the twilight, a pleasant experience, especially when the traffic has reduced so that crossing roads is a breeze. Luckily there is a handy bridge as well to cross the main road on my route! 😄

Newcastle have Manchester United in the next round. Bring it on! ⚽🥅
