Social Media Challenge: Swamp Spitter [EN - ESP]
Here we are once again and just seven days after the article in which I reviewed Tatiana Blayde for last week's Social Media Challenge. This week's card is less glamorous than Tatiana in name, rarity and even card design, although it will remind you of a certain series and movie about a certain turtle trained by a rat. Another date with this week's first challenge in @splinterlands and it comes with a new analysis of a card from, this time, the water deck. Let's get started.
Aquà estamos una vez más y justo siete dÃas después del artÃculo en el que analizaba a Tatiana Blayde para el Social Media Challenge de la semana pasada. La carta de esta semana tiene menos glamour que Tatiana tanto en nombre como en rareza e, incluso, en diseño de la carta aunque, eso sÃ, te va a recordar a cierta serie y pelÃcula de ciertas tortugas entrenadas por una rata. Nueva cita con el primer reto de esta semana en @splinterlands y llega con un nuevo análisis de una carta del, esta vez, mazo de agua. Comenzamos.
This week I bring you a review of a common rarity card from the Chaos Legion edition. An edition that jumped into my roster in @splinterlands and that has allowed me to considerably improve my card pool and the variety of my strategies. Today I bring you the analysis of Swamp Spitter, a card with a ranged attack and a special ability that will give us a lot of play in certain scenarios.
Esta semana os traigo el análisis de una carta de rareza común y perteneciente a la edición Chaos Legion. Una edición que dió un salto a mi roster en @splinterlands y que me ha permitido mejorar de manera considerable tanto mi fondo de cartas como la variedad de mis estrategias. Hoy te traigo el análisis de Swamp Spitter, una carta con ataque a distancia y con una habilidad especial que nos va a dar mucho juego en ciertos escenarios.
As I said in the previous paragraph, Swap Spitter has ranged attack, two points, also two points of speed, one point of shield and five points of vitality in exchange for seven points of summoning mana. This is always at his starting level. In my case, which I have evolved to level seven, she has one more point in the four basic stats and, as special abilities, she already has the two she's going to get. Repair from the initial level and Giant Killer, which she gets at level six of evolution. Repair is the ability that gives this card its importance, as repairing shields is vital in battles where you can't use magic attacks. As I said, it's a very versatile card that can provide us with many solutions in certain scenarios.
Como te digo en el párrafo anterior, Swap Spitter cuenta con ataque a distancia, dos puntos, también dos puntos de velocidad, uno de escudo y cinco de vitalidad a cambio de siete puntos de maná de invocación. Datos hablando siempre de su nivel inicial. En mi caso que la tengo evolucionada a nivel siete cuenta con un punto más en las cuatro estadÃsticas básicas y, como habilidades especiales, ya tiene las dos que va a conseguir. Repair desde el nivel inicial y Giant Killer que la obtiene en el nivel seis de evolución. Repair es la habilidad que dota de importancia a esta carta pues el hecho de reparar escudo es vital en batallas en las que no se puede usar el ataque mágico. Como te digo, una carta muy versatil que nos puede dotar de muchas soluciones en determinados escenarios.
The battle itself pits me against @jdunit from the Splinters Trouble clan and he strategises with the life deck and focuses on the magic attack which is going to minimise the effectiveness of Swamp Spitter's Repair somewhat. However, by having melee cards in the top positions of his lineup, I'm still going to be able to take advantage of this ability in the early stages of the fight, which will be the decisive ones this time.
La batalla en sà me enfrenta a @jdunit perteneciente al clan Splinters Trouble y plantea una estrategia con el mazo de vida y focaliza en el ataque mágico lo cual va a minimizar un poco la efectividad del Repair de Swamp Spitter. Sin embargo, al contar con cartas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo en las primeras posiciones de su alineación aún voy a poder aprovechar esta habilidad en las primeras fases del combate que, al final, van a ser las decisivas esta vez.
The combo of Swamp Spitter and cards attacking from the second line proved to be a very positive synergy for my approach and gave me the win. A much needed victory because, like every end of the season, I find myself in the highest leagues of the ranking without having a roster of cards too evolved and without many variables that allow me many joys in each match.
El combo de Swamp Spitter y las cartas que atacan desde la segunda lÃnea han resultado una sinergia muy positiva para mi planteamiento y me han dado la victoria. Una muy necesaria ya que, como cada final de temporada, me encuentro en las ligas más altas del ranking sin tener un roster de cartas demasiado evolucionado y sin muchas variables que me permitan muchas alegrias en cada combate.
