Share your Battle: Dragon Edition [EN -ES]
Thursday is here and if yesterday we worked on the Social Media Challenge, today it's the turn of the Share your Battle. This week the @splinterlands team challenges us to make and analyse the event with the dragon deck, leaving us free to choose the card to analyse. In my case I decide to finally analyse Twilight Basilisk surrounded by several cards from the water deck Let's see how this mix works out for us. Let's get started.
Llega el jueves y si ayer trabajábamos el Social Media Challenge, hoy llega el turno para el Share your Battle. Esta semana el equipo de @splinterlands nos reta a realizar y analizar el evento con el mazo dragón dejando libertad de elección de carta a analizar. En mi caso me decido por analizar, por fin, a Twilight Basilisk rodeado de varias cartas del mazo de agua. Veremos qué tal da resultado nos da esta mezcla. Comenzamos.
TWILIGHT BASILISK
THE CARD
Choosing Twilight Basilisk for this week's analysis means analysing a card of a rare nature and belonging, logically, to the Dragon deck. It's a reward edition card which means you're quite likely to have it in your roster as we can receive it, for the time being, in the daily and seasonal focus rewards. In fact, just yesterday I received a Twilight Basilisk in the first focus of the new season. It has one point of melee attack plus three points of speed and health and one point of shield at its lowest level.
Elegir para el análisis de esta semana a Twilight Basilisk supone analizar una carta de naturaleza rara y perteneciente, lógico, al mazo Dragón. Es una carta edición reward lo que significa que es bastante probable que la tengas en tu roster ya que la podemos recibir, de momento, en las recompensas del focus diario y de temporada. De hecho, ayer mismo recibí un Twilight Basilisk en el primer focus de la nueva temporada. Cuenta con un punto de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo además de tres puntos de velocidad y vida y un punto de escudo en su nivel más bajo.
As for his special abilities, he already brings Reach at his starting level. As you know, this ability allows Twilight Basilisk to make attacks from the second position in the line-up. En cuanto a sus habilidades especiales ya aporta Reach en su nivel inicial. Como bien sabes, esta habilidad permite a Twilight Basilisk realizar ataques desde la segunda posición de la alineación. Y será ese puesto en el que coloques esta carta en el 90% de las veces que la utilices. A nivel 5 ganará otra habilidad como Stun y obtendrá así la posibilidad de noquear durante un turno a los rivales que reciban su ataque.
TWILIGHT BASILISK'S STATS
As you can see in the image above the improvement in his basic skills is quite modest Two attack points and, in addition, we must take into account that the step from 2 to 3 points only occurs at his last level. Speed and shield will only increase by one point, and health will increase from 3 to 5 points. At his maximum level and with only Reach and Stun as special abilities we are left with a card with little power for the level at which he competes at his maximum level.
Como puedes apreciar en la imagen superior la mejora en sus habilidades básicas es bastante modesta. Dos puntos de ataque y, además, debemos tener en cuenta que el paso de 2 a 3 puntos solo se produce en su último nivel. La velocidad y el escudo solo aumentarán un punto y la vida pasará de 3 a 5 puntos. A su máximo nivel y solo con Reach y Stun como habilidades especiales nos queda una carta con poco poder para el nivel al que compite a su máximo nivel.
Talking about its price and being, as you already know, a reward card you can anticipate that it will be one of the cheapest cards in the game even though it is a rare card and from the dragon deck that has the advantage of being able to be combined with the rest of the decks. Speaking always at its first level its current market price is just 0.02 dollars and in rent the minimum of 0.01 dec/day.
Hablando de su precio y siendo, como ya te explicado y sabrás, una carta reward puedes anticipar que será una de las cartas más baratas del juego incluso a pesar de ser una carta rara y del mazo dragón que tiene la ventaja de poder combinarse con el resto de mazos. THE BATTLE
Let us now turn to the battle as an example of its playability and utility. In these early days of the season, we are in the Bronze League. My opponent in this battle will be @duong29 who will form with a green deck led by Obsidian. Unicorn Mustang as a tank and four cards with magic attack to take advantage of his summoner bonus will be his formation. Tough opponent in a league where I have a hard time getting victories. My decks are made to compete in silver and every start of the season is a real odyssey for me.
Vamos ahora con la batalla de ejemplo de su jugabilidad y utilidad. En estos primeros días de temporada intenso salir de la liga de Bronce. Mi rival en esta batalla será @duong29 que formará con un mazo verde liderado por Obsidian. Unicorn Mustang como tanque y cuatro cartas con ataque mágico para aprovechar el bonus de su invocador será su formación. Duro rival en una liga en la que me cuesta horrores conseguir victorias. Mis mazos están hechos para competir en plata y cada inicio de temporada es una auténtica odisea para mi.

It was a hard-fought battle that was decided by small details. Twilight Basilisk did its job perfectly with continuous attacks on the opponent's first position although it wasn't the most outstanding card of the battle. A battle in which my healer and shield replenisher were of vital importance.
Batalla durísima y que se ha decidido por pequeños detalles. Twilight Basilisk cumplió a la perfección su cometido realizando ataques continuos a la primera posición rival aunque no fue la carta más destacada de la batalla. Una batalla en la que mi sanador y mi reponedor de escudo fueron de vital importancia.
CONCLUSIONS
Twilight Basilisk is one of those cards that becomes less important as the league in which its holder competes grows. An almost essential card due to its low mana cost in lower leagues It loses prominence in more evolved leagues as it does not improve its basic abilities sufficiently and its special abilities are very common and can be provided by other cards with better playability. Despite this it is a card that I value with a score of 6.5 out of 10 for its importance in the first of all players in the game.
Twilight Basilisk es de esas cartas que pierden importancia a medida que se va aumentando la liga en la que compite su poseedor. Carta casi imprescindible por su bajo coste de maná en las ligas más bajas. Pierde protagonismo en las ligas más evolucionadas ya que no mejora de manera suficiente sus habilidades básicas y las especiales son muy comunes y las pueden aportar otras cartas con mayor jugabilidad. A pesar de ello es una carta que valoro con una nota de 6,5 sobre 10 por su importancia en los primeros de todo jugador en el juego.
