[ENG/DEU] New Hive Tool: (HE) Blockchain-Based, Transparent, Tamper-Proof Raffle Wheel You & Your Participants Can Trust!
For the upcoming CryptoCompany “CCD Repurchase & Burn” campaign, I needed a tool that I would like to present to the public today. If you raffle things off, this is a real asset for you and your contest participants!

The tool is not only interesting for CryptoCompany, but for every Hivian who organizes raffles—whether on the Hive blockchain or elsewhere. Whether Splinterlands cards, HSBI units, STARBITS, whatever—it doesn't matter! But of course, the wheel can also simply select a user... The great thing about it is that it not only offers transparency for the participants in the raffle, but is also a feast for the eyes and increases the thrill for all raffle participants! I can say with confidence: it's a real asset for your raffles!

You can fill the fields with whatever you like.
You have an array odf data? No problem! And if your participants have fractions oof "win tickets" too - no problem. The script accepts comme entries and counts only full tickets.
Further plans:
In the medium term, I will enable further designs and tokens for payment. Currently, we have the default design and one from @Splinterlands. CCD and DEC tokens are currently available as payment options.
I am thinking, for example, of designs for @steembasicincome and @risingstargame. This would, of course, also involve the integration of further HE tokens. Any other requests?
I also had the idea of making the link to each video available retrospectively. That's not a bad idea. This will happen in the medium term – but I didn't want to make the release dependent on it or delay it further.
A few more explanations:
You can fill in the fields of the wheel freely by entering text in each text field. You can also fill in the fields using an array. Both options are shown in the screenshot.
The CCDs used are burned 100%; other tokens are staked or sold, depending on what best supports the further development of CryptoCompany.
Every spin, including all details, can be viewed in the “Verification” tab. If you want, you can also use the search field there to search for a Hivian's raffles or enter the trx_id.
Why did I create this tool?
Several reasons:
Here and there, you can see comments under competitions: “The draw is rigged!” Now, every competition organizer can counteract this. Every spin is stored on the blockchain and in the CryptoCompany database and can be viewed at https://cryptocompany.ceo/wheel-of-fortune.php. This also makes it possible to verify whether an organizer has spun until they got the desired result.
Because I wanted to offer participants something special in my upcoming raffles—and the video definitely does that! Where else can a player experience the thrill of a raffle better? Tip: if you don't want to reveal the result before the participant has watched the video, you can also “hide” the result in a spoiler.
Because I think it's awesome to make our blockchain an even better place. Not only to give tokens another use case, but also this application: the first cheat-proof raffle mechanism on our blockchain!
Because @CryptoCompany and @PowerPaul are always thinking about how they can offer you something and make the most out of your support. Thank you very much for that! Mittelfristig werde ich weitere Designs und Token zur Zahlung ermöglichen. Aktuell haben wir das Default-Design und eines von @Splinterlands. Als Zahlungsmöglichkeiten stehen aktuell CCD und DEC Token zur Auswahl.
Ich denke da zum Beispiel an Designs für @steembasicincome und @risingstargame. Damit verbunden natürlich auch die Integration weiterer HE-Token. Weitere Wünsche?
Mir ist noch die Idee gekommen, den Link zu jedem Video auch im Nachhinein verfügbar zu machen. Das ist keine schlechte Idee. Dies wird mittelfristig kommen - ich wollte die Veröffentlichung aber nicht davon abhängig machen bzw. weiter hinauszögern.
Noch ein paar Erklärungen:
Du kannst die Felder des Rades frei befüllen, indem du für jedes Textfeld einen Text-Input befüllst. Du kannst die Felder aber auch per Array befüllen. Beides ist im Screenshot ersichtlich.
Die verwendeten CCD werden zu 100% verbrannt; andere Token werden gestaked oder verkauft - abhängig davon, was die Weiterentwicklung von CryptoCompany besser unterstützt.
Jeder Dreh, inklusive aller Details, ist im Tab "Verification" einsehbar. Wenn du möchtest, kannst du dort auch das Suchfeld nutzen, um nach den Verlosungen eines Hivians zu suchen oder die trx_id eingeben.
Warum ich dieses Tool erschaffen habe?
Mehrere Gründe:
Hier und da sieht man Kommentare unter Gewinnspielen: "Die Verlosung ist gefälscht!" Dem kann nun jeder Gewinnspielveranstalter entgegenwirken. Es wird jeder Dreh abgespeichert auf der Blockchain und in der CryptoCompany Datenbank abgespeichert und lässt sich über https://cryptocompany.ceo/wheel-of-fortune.php einsehen. Somit ist auch nachvollziehbar, ob ein Veranstalter so lange gedreht hat, bis er das gewünschte Ergebnis erhalten hat.
Weil ich in meinen kommenden Verlosungen den Teilnehmern etwas besonders bieten wollte - und das Video bietet dies ohne Zweifel! Wo kann ein Mitspieler den Nervenkitzel einer Verlosung besser miterleben? Tipp: wenn du das Ergebnis nicht offensichtlich verraten willst, bevor der Teilnehmer das Video geschaut hat, kannst du das Ergebnis auch nochmal in einem Spoiler "verstecken".
Weil ich es einfach geil finde, unser Blockchain zu einem noch besseren Ort zu machen. Nicht nur, um Token einen weiteren Anwendungsfall zu geben, sondern auch diese Anwendung: der erste Cheat-sichere Verlosungsmechanismus auf unserer Blockchain!

The only thing missing for your tool's success is publicity. There are several people who run giveaways on various platforms here at Hive. Whenever I participate in one, omment on your tool.
A tip or suggestion: would it be possible to create some mechanism to start promoting it? For example, you could first post a giveaway, it doesn't have to be a substantial prize: 1 DEC, 0.001 Hive, and 0.01 SPS. People should recommend the giveaway, you only get one chance if the person you referred clicks to participate. "Advertising is the soul of business."
Finally, you create a post showing the process, including the link to the winning giveaways. It's just a suggestion!

Hi, this tool is very interesting, and I think it works, when you only have 8 fields or less.
But in the case of placing participants for a contest or more than 8 alliance prizes in it, as in the Wednesday battle game house of our community, where there are more than 20 prize possibilities for participants, it remains limited.
But, for what is proposed, it is very well.

No problem. (But in such a high number of field case, I would suggest to enter the fields via the array. THen it's faster to enter & your browser draws the fields faster.)

One thing that would be great here too would be something like a Wheel of Names like I use in my giveaways, but here on Hive where you could click to import the people account names. It's a lot of work manually the way I do it!

I can't believe that no one from hive came up with this idea before, this is great for those who wants to do give aways and something similar. I agree with a comment that it should reach more people.
