Christmas has finally arrived and the celebrations have already ended across the globe. I have the impression that the majority of the global population celebrates this date, even with some specific differences.
The tables were set to welcome guests in the best possible way, within our limitations. Christmas Dinner took place last night, December 24th, as a result of a lot of dedication.

All the preparation work, from organizing the dinner details, decoration, drinks, was rewarded with the joy of the guests, who contributed to the spirit of hope that the date brings us.
Our artistic wall was specially prepared for the date, with a reinterpretation of an inspiring scene seen on Pinterest. The handmade art took around 4 hours to complete.

The traditional Christmas Turkey was served accompanied by other traditional dishes, taking care to also offer vegetarian options and another meat option.
The gifts were under the tree
At exactly 9 pm the presents were opened. The schedule was determined to meet the demands of the kitchen and children's anxiety. No significant warm gifts, instead several symbolic gifts were placed.
The excitement of the opening is contagious and a very special moment where we can see the true Christmas spirit acting and transforming in children!
May this event be inspiring for us all to remain motivated to make 2024 a wonderful and fair year for everyone!

Enfim o natal chegou e as comemorações já encerraram por todo o globo. Tenho a impressão que a maioria da população global comemora esta data, mesmo com algumas divergências pontuais.
As mesas foram postas visando acolher os convidados da melhor maneira possível, dentro das nossas limitações. A Ceia de Natal ocorreu na noite de ontem, dia 24 de zembro, como resultado de muita dedicação.

Todo o trabalho de preparação, desde da organização dos detalhes da ceia, decoração, bebidas, foi recompensado com a alegria dos convidados, que contribuíram com o espírito de esperança que a data nos trás.
Nossa parede artística foi especialmente preparada para a data, com uma releitura de uma cena inspiradora vista no Pinterest. A arte feira a mão demandou cerca de 4 horas para ser concluída.

O tradicional Peru de Natal foi servido acompanhado de outros pratos tradicionais, tendo o cuidado de também oferecer opções vegetarianas e outra opção de carne.
Os presentes estavam sob a árvore
Exatamente às 21 horas os presentes foram abertos. O horário foi determinado de forma a atender as exigências da cozinha dle também da ansiedade infantil. Nenhum presente de calor significativo, ao invés disso foram colocados diversos presente simbólicos.
A emoção da abertura é contagiosa e um momento muito especial onde podemos ver nas crianças o verdadeiro espírito de natal agindo e transformando!
Que este evento seja inspirador para todos seguirmos motivados a fazer de 2024 um ano maravilhoso e justo para todos!

Thanks for sharing your celebrations with us all. One of my favourite things about Christmas is the excitement generated by kids. It’s so refreshing to see their unabated enthusiasm for Father Christmas, or as my daughter calls him, The Big Jolly, to come and place presents under the tree, and their wide-eyed amazement in the morning when they first spy the bounty under the tree.

Here we have a new tradition, and gifts are placed on the tree throughout the month. There is no longer a specific Christmas day. It is part of a movement towards giving new meaning to Christmas. We’ll see if it bears fruit!
