Hello my co-members, I would like to compare the western way of dressing to the African way of dressing.
In Africa, we are so respected and give regard to our culture, then we used to protect our good name, especially the compound name.
In Africa we have several ways of dressing by our different cultures. I will use Nigeria as a good example, in Nigeria we have three ethnic groups, which are Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo.
The Yoruba way of dressing is different from the way Hausa and Igbo will dress, in this post I will show you how each of the ethnic groups dress in their different culture.

Yoruba cultural dressing: Yoruba dress in a respected manner, the buba and sokoto will be well sewed by the tailor for men. The cloth might be Aso ofi, you can use it to sow Agbada and sokoto, it might be Buba and soro but the tailor will sow it to be fitted on the body. Then also for the Yoruba women they can sow their Aso ofi with buba and iro with gele (head tie) or it can be sewed as a gown or skirt and blouse.

Hausa cultural dressing: The traditional dress of the Hausa used to be of a flowing gown and trousers. They are sewed with openings that allow for ventilation. Just the little I knew of their traditional dressing.

Igbo cultural dressing: The traditional Igbo attire for the men is an isi agu top (Lion's head) with either a red or black hat over a George wrapper, this dressing for the men also accompanies with a walking stick.

The women's traditional Igbo attire is a styled blouse, with two wrappers (Either George or Hollandaise),headgear(gele) with coral beads.

Western styles of dressing can never be compared with African style of dressing because with western styles of dressing you can put on blows and skirts that are not responsible to wear for a very gentle African American woman because some blouses show a woman's breast and even the skirt will have an open line that will be up to the buttocks that you will almost see the person's pant. And for the men, they wear shirt and jeans or trouser jeans that are Swed as rag jeans and the dressing which is not look respected and responsible.

I have been to a Yoruba wedding once and it was really a unique one, seeing everyone in their native attire.
