If you are new to RisingStar it's a music theme game built on Hive, you take part in various music theme tasks to progress - earning the in game token Starbits along the way you can use to purchase new game cards, or trade on Hive Engine. It's free to play - just head over to RisingStar and sign in with KeyChain - get started with some Illegal Busking and progress from there. The aim is to keep increasing your level by repeating missions, that way you unlock more new missions and new areas. Along the way you can find or purchase with StarBits, Hive and other currency more cards to enhance your game.

A relatively new addition is the Raves option, to join in you need specific cards which you have either earned over time from missions or you can purchase from the marketplace. Raves last a varying amount of time from a day to a few days, if you have the cards you can join in the rave and get part of the reward pool at the end. Every now and again you will get ravers pop up - and if you click them you help your team get ahead.

As mentioned you can buy card parks to grow your deck, and for this post I have purchased 10 card packs which are on hold to be given away. The only requirement is you comment on this post about the new Raves - have you joined in a Rave yet? What do you think about the Raves feature? Any likes or dislikes, possible improvements. Winners of card parks will be decided at random from the best most complete comments - just putting "yes I like raves give me cards" is not going to get you anywhere, I want a nice big comment full of information to read, maybe you know the best way to get the cards to join in the Rave, or some clever trick to get the most from the reward pool. The card packs are going to the people who put the most effort in - so write a nice long complete comment - don't hold back!

Winners will be chosen and announced with a comment on their comment when this post pays out in 7 days time - Saturday 14th October - so there is plenty of time to compost a massive killer comment.

I’ve read several posts on Rusing Stars, but have never played the game before.

I have joined a Rave but I haven't really looked into it too much. I just go in with my current FA cards and collect the minimum payout for the most part. So I don't really have much suggestions about it but I would like to know how long a rave is. Sometimes it's like 1 day and others times, it's like 3-4 days.

join the green rave, I always go there and we win a lot and definitely win if Waggie is AWOL

a bit hint:
RAVE is big boys game, even at my size which I generate around 40-60k starbits everyday, its still far from being noticeable in the raven.

Come here for pack but nothing much to contribute.
My relationship is the game is on and off, I was building my Starpro collection When Starpro really climbed up, and when I again came back to game, Starpro was some 27+ Hive.

I sold all my accumulated Starpro(I guess 10+) and bought the GLX from it. Now Starpro and Starpro missions are distant dreams for me.

I've been an avid player of RisingStar for a while now, and I have to say that the addition of the Raves feature has brought a whole new level of excitement to the game. It's a fantastic way to engage with the community and earn some extra rewards while enjoying the music-themed gameplay.

I've had the opportunity to join in a few Raves, and it's been an absolute blast. The concept of having specific cards to participate adds a strategic element to the game. It encourages players to diversify their card collection and seek out those rare and valuable cards that are in demand for the Raves.

One aspect that I particularly appreciate about the Raves feature is the reward pool. It's a great incentive to give it your all during the event.

Count me in

IGN @olaf.gui

I haven't joined any raves so I can't really talk about them. I don't know how they work but from what I understand they require some specific cards that I don't have. I'm still a very small player for raves, I feel.

Hello, how are you?

I am proud to say that I have participated in all the raves that have come out since they officially came out.

I must admit that this game mode I really like the commitment that the community must have to create sides is something very fun to take advantage of. Undoubtedly, one of the best updates that the game has released.

In my case, I have a strategy for two types of scenarios in raves. The first scenario is when the raves are starting. When it is starting, I mean that all the parties are empty. When this happens, it is important to join any party as soon as possible and ideally try to guess which one will win in order to receive greater rewards. The second scenario is when the rave has already started some time ago, in this case, I try to always join the one that looks like it will win. An example of the first scenario is if I enter any party with 1200 party members this move will produce a bonus that will transform my 1200 party members and I will end the rave with approximately 2300 no matter which party you join whether it is winning or losing, this small bonus may compensate you for joining a losing party, but there is also the case where you have joined the winning one, therefore the bonus will be much more exquisite. An example for the second case is when you join the winning party with a certain period of time already advanced in the rave, the fact that you join the winning party with a certain period of time already advanced in the rave, the fact that you join the losing party will be much more exquisite. An example for the second case by joining the winning party with a certain period of time already advanced in the rave, the fact of joining the winning party will compensate the kind of penalty for join late to the rave, this penalty is translated instead of finishing with the 1200 partygoers that you added, you will finish with about 700, 600 or even zero if the party in which you participated is not that it finishes with all its partygoers imprisoned.

As I say the rave parties are very cool they need the community to coordinate to get the best prizes, both the swap.hive pool and the Starbits pool. This organization, is translated in knowing when we are going to throw police to the opponent parties or when to make the calls of cluelessness to the police to get rid of the police and surely win the rave at the last minute, in several raves that I have participated this strategy has been seen.

Although as I say the organization in community is the most indicated to win some rave, I already have my strategy established and this does not always make me participate in the winning party. But with this strategy I give the opportunity to the others to throw their grain of sand and help to achieve the victory, besides it would be very boring to always join the winning rave.

By the way, another fact is that if the whole community joins the winning party, it does not necessarily translate into better prizes. When the pool is divided, the rave that has won will get a certain percentage and that percentage will be divided among all participants. And, if there are many participants the prize to be received will be minuscule and in that case the one that has joined an opponent party will surely have a better prize since the percentage that was divided to that party is different from the winning one regardless if that percentage is lower it will be divided among less players and that translates into a better prize for each player.

Although I quite like raves this tends to get a bit monotonous seeing that parties on most occasions tend to be split between two sides. And, if one side doesn't participate the rave is easily decided. Perhaps, that is the only negative point. But, I am hopeful that as new players join the raves day by day they will become more interesting and it will be more difficult to decide who will be the winner.

To conclude, a recommendation for rave would be to try to involve users more in participating with the dancers. I would say that since not everyone is clicking on the dancers that the Starbits pool should be divided among those who click on the winner rave, if someone wants to win some of that pool it would be best if they actively participate. That way the work is not left to a few.

Thanks for this space and for the raffle you are running. Sorry if my comment was too long.

Hello.
How nice!
I think I got excited about it hahahah. There is something I didn't mention is that Raves, have become another game mode of Rising Star. Now, with the change in the music lessons (that now you have to pay for them) it was noticed that players decided to look for other options and among these options were the Raves and that skyrocketed the price of FA cards. Players could easily just play with the Raves.
Thank you very much for the space, the raffle and the prize.
Have a great sunday.
