Growth is a gradual process
I am trying to remember what I was doing on this date last year but a lot of things happened that make it almost impossible to remember exactly what I was doing on the 20th of March 2023, If only I jot it down in my diary but somehow I do not have the time to keep records of daily activities in my diary anymore, I only jot down passwords.
One thing is certain, I was still living in my Former area and I was just processing my admission into School, I was as free as a bird, all I did was stay indoors and work and the only time I went out was when I needed to buy food.
That life was good, I was alone but not lonely, and I loved the life I was living, When I processed and gained admission into school, I witnessed another life.
Lagos is indeed different from Lagos, even though I was living in Lagos, If someone tells you they live in Lagos, ask them the exact location where they stay, some places in Lagos are ghettos, some areas are close to small London while some area are nice and comfortable to stay. My former area was local but I loved it because things were cheap and I was living like a King in that ghetto until school carried me away from there.
School took me to a new area that was never in my plan to stay in, the area is nice, and when I started house hunting. I realized I was in for something serious because the lowest house rent there is 300k Naira and my former apartment in the ghetto side is even better than it, I am someone who loves to stay in a comfortable place since I stay indoors mostly, So I decided to go for a place that I will be comfortable without thinking much about the money and at the end I settle for a 500k room self.
I started schooling around July and now am done with the ND1 and will be in ND2 next month, How time flies, and before I know it, I will be done with school but the change is, I can't go back to my life of solitude because I got to start my own family and this could start anytime soon.
I met new faces in school and bonded with some people, I learned to work with others as a team, all these are fun and I love doing it.
All these are part of my growth and the new area contributed to it. Life is a mystery and we don't know where we might find ourselves the next day, what matters is we should enjoy every bit of our short life, making money and doing what makes us happy. Live the moment!

Changes comes in different ways. School took you to a different location but see how expensive accommodation became. But you must move on. Thank God your ND1 is concluded.

It is a fact that with time a person has to work harder in life, then such a time comes, one day he becomes a successful person.
Life is a give and take. The more you give into your life, the more rewards you get back. We should not mount too much pressure while trying to grow ourselves because it will come naturally while you work. It's a work in progress.
You are right, have not been successful with school for many years and now here I am schooling with ease and able to afford an apartment of my choice and eat what I want ..
Now you see, that's why, everything in life is a stage. The time it comes easy and the time it comes hard which we have to cope with.
Before you know it now, you’d get to HND level and also be done with that too. We just have to keep moving in life. We should continue to be on the go

Hmm this is deep and true, changes comes like a flash before our eyes , you've done well for yourself in gaining admission and also moving to the other side of Lagos, one reason why I avoided those places is what you experienced, house are pretty small, less comfortable and yet they charge rediculous amount.
I'm glad you've been able to scale through and progressing in your academics.
I hate the changes and I am definitely moving to a cheaper area once am done with school but for now, I have no choice but to pay exorbitant fees , thanks my man
Schooling can indeed bring many changes, and yes, you can't enjoy solitude when you're in a school since you meet different kinds of people oftentimes. Time really flies by, you'll finish your schooling before you finally processed it in your mind.
Some people most of the time always rush things out and make things to work as though it must be instant but have forgotten that the growth change we desire at times takes time and it is gradual
