A job offer I would never take no matter the amount of money Involved
Hello to all my fellow learners!
While reading @adaezeinchrist post she mentioned prostitution being one job she can never do which I absolutely agree with because there are so many dangers one can face in that profession.
The risk of getting infected with a sexually transmitted disease is one, it could be worse if it is one that is not curable, another bad thing about this job is that one can get used by ritualists, it exposes them to danger, imagine going home with a stranger and spending the whole night, when you do not know the kind of plans he has for you.
Lastly is the fact that one man won't be able to satisfy them anymore, a lady that has tasted many joysticks, both long, short, thick, dark, yellow and orange would never want to settle with just one, it would lead to her cheating on her man and hence such a person can not have a successful relationship.
I would have written about it if I was a girl which I am not, but then we also have men that do this kind of thing, we call them Gigolo but they are not many like we have prostitutes.
If there is one profession I would never do right now no matter the amount they are offering me, it would be:
Mortician
A mortician also known as an undertaker is a person who works in the mortuary and is also in charge of embalming the dead bodies and other things involving the corpse.
This is one profession I would never do and that is because of some reasons which I will be listing below.
Emotionally destabilizing: We have cases of different kinds of death on a daily basis, ranging from death by road accident, food poisoning, stabbing, acid being poured on some people and many others, when these people die and they take them to the mortuary, it is the work of the mortician to wash and clean the bodies, imagine how traumatizing that can be, seeing irritable things before embalming the body so it won't smell.
Nightmare: This can cause nightmares for someone who can't control his own emotions, the dead bodies seen during the day would reflect in his memories and he might start dreaming about them, I give kudos to those doing this job, is it the part that they also have to sleep in the mortuary in the night with the dead people, imagine the silence that would engrave the whole place.
The fear of the dead waking up to cause commotion is also there even though some people believe that a person that is dead is gone and can't cause any mishap I have heard stories where people die and their spirit wonders about, some dead people also walk around in the night so I heard, all these rumors contributed to the reasons why I can't take such a job and I have not yet wash the living, is it the dead I will now start washing.
Big respect to those people doing this job because not everyone has the mind to do it.

The profession your mentioned is really horrible one and I will never dared to do the profession. I never thought about it not even in my dream.

The work is not for ordinary people honestly. From stories I've heard, most of them do fortify themselves because of the nature of their job. Just like someone earlier stated "they should continue doing the Lord's work".
yea i heard about this fortifications stuff but this only happen in African countries, i don't think europeans practice such.

Mortician are very brave set of people. Their jobs are just so traumating, then imagine doing it everyday. No way in the world 😂

I must give kudos to people doing this kind of job oo. They are trying. Imagine having to see dead corpses every time and do you know what? There are people who are already used to seeing and washing dead people to embalm them. I can't do it. Lol
yea as humans, we adapt to things easily, we say we cant do it because we never tried it, and we could hate the first month of doing it but in the end, we will get used to it. that is human but then we would not have a reason to do it, so we are safe lol
Gigolo? That's a new word for me. Yes prostitution really brings a lot of problems and disadvantages in life.
Hmmm my uncle is an embalmer as we usually call it here. He works for so long on that job but I haven't had the chance to talk with him about it but your points is really true. Looking at deformed bodies of face because of accident is really traumatizing and I think I would dream of that face when I sleep.
Gigolo is a name for a man who sleeps with older women for money, the same way a prostitute sleeps with a man for money.

And seriously speaking, there are cases like too, they become like addicted to it that can't just settle for one joystick. It's a actually a sad case. But the saddest part is when they have to do it because they don't have other choice.
Anyways, a Mortician, it's a decent job sure but if you have a weak stomach then this is not for you. It's scary just thinking about jt.

Hahahaha, but really, it's a sad reality too for them and to the husband, if ever. It can't be cured I think even with lots of therapy as the urge to do it more is strong. I think I watch something like this before, a read some story similar to this.
It is a fact that the work for which the heart of a person is not satisfied, then he should not do it at all, even if the person is being given as much money as he wants, if the heart of the person is willing to do it. He is not doing it and if he does not feel good at all, then he should not do it at all.

WOW 😲. Do you think that the people working in such places face all of these horrible things? I'm even more scared because someday we will all be kept under their care and then what will happen? No wonder some people ask their family to just go ahead and bury them if anything happens.

most people dont put their loved ones in mortuary, the ones i think we find in mortuary most times are accidental death
