It's Not Easy To Secure A Goal!
Wow… anyone at all that is serious about this blockchain has to have a set of goals that will guide their every action. It is the goals that will determine the steps they take and also how they will take them. This is to show you just how important goals are. Without them, we would just be doing the same thing every single day and be getting the same result. We would have nothing to work towards, nothing to stir our spirits, and nothing to motivate us. Without goals, the Hive blockchain would be no different from just another social media site. Of course, being blessed to be on this platform, I also have my goals and aspirations that I work hard towards achieving every single day. Back in 2020, when I first heard about this thing called Hive, I was interested because it offered a place where I could write my stories and there will be people who will give me constructive feedback. All I was after was a place to be able to pass my message into the world, and the moment I opened my Hive account and realized that. I got another goal. I then realized I liked making money as well. So my main goal then was to write for money, I had felt that if my writing was good enough, then I will get the support right? I was wrong. It wasn’t until I joined the Inkwell Community that I realized that there was more to being a blogger on Hive than just making posts and getting upvotes. It is a place where people can rub their minds over matters that bring them together. Anyway, as the months turned into years, I have to admit I have grown considerably. Not as fast as I had thought, but I was not in the place I had been at the beginning of the year. The year is indeed running to an end, and there are some goals that I am yet to accomplish, although I am hoping fervently that I will be able to do that before the year finally runs out. One of the first goals I set for myself was to grow my followership. And I have to say I failed at that, I was targeting having up to a thousand followers by the end of the year, and till now I am just barely above a hundred and fifty. Although at risk of sounding like I am giving excuses, there were some factors off the chain that cramped my activities on-chain. Especially all the classes I had to take and all the jobs I had to do that were not Hive-related. Although there is still time to get some things done, I really doubt I will be able to get to that number before the year finally comes to an end. But then, who am I to say never? I would keep trying and see how it turns out. One of the ways I had planned to boost my followership was through engagement, and that is what kicked up my number from somewhere in the fifties to what it is presently. Now, I will be exploring more avenues of engagement, so that I can cultivate a reach that would be felt all over the blockchain. Another goal I set for myself was my Hive Power. At the beginning of the year, I had 400 HP in my wallet, and I was looking to get it to 5000 by the end of the year. Yeah, that was quite lofty, but I was willing to go big or go home. At least, I worked hard toward this particular one. Making posts as often as I could, supporting other creators to the best of my ability, and just doing my best overall. Now it is two months to the year’s end, and I just clocked 2000 HP. Hopefully, before the end of the year, I will push it past 2500. I know this number might not be impressive for some, but it is my win and I am celebrating it anyway. Growing your HP is no easy thing at all, this is something everyone can relate to. One final goal I set for myself was for me to write more articles on Hive than stories. This was inspired when I had to take a test to see if I could get a job online, one of the requirements was that I write an article. I tried my best then, but I didn’t get it. I knew it was the article that had ruined it for me, and I sought to take care of that. And how? By coming to my blog and writing articles. At first, getting things to write about was a hassle and always difficult. But then, as time wore on and I became comfortable with the process, it was easier to clear out my head and focus my thoughts. And before I knew it, it was easy for me to write articles. At least, this is one goal I can say that I have succeeded in, although there is still room for improvement. As you can see, almost every goal I have concerning Hive is a work in progress. There are still a lot of things to be done, I know this and I am willing to keep at it whether I will get my desired result or not, at least I know that I tried and while I didn’t get to the final destination, I very well moved quite a distance on the journey. So, my dear friends, it is true that nothing is impossible to achieve. We all can do it, what changes are the way we view each task and the way we go after them, that is what determines those that get what they want and those that don’t. Chasing your goals doggedly might be a difficult thing to do, but I sincerely urge you to keep at it and continue fighting. It will pay off one day and then all the struggles will become smiles. Hmmmm this is indeed something I can relate too my brother, I as a person started off with 100 hp delegation, it was my mentor who delegated it to me and seeing how I realized it was going to get over, I aimed at a goal and worked my ass off until I got to this stage...
I actually understand that it ain't easy to meet up on hive not when you have multiple jobs offline, engagement is indeed the key..
You have made a progress and I believe your desired goals will be achieved before you know it...

Ah! except if a person wants to remain at thesame place doing one thing over and over without progress otherwise having a set goal should be a must for everyone in all spheres of our lives.
This is achievable sir, even though when I saw it at first I thought it was five hundred until I looked the second time and was thrilled to see your Hive power at 2000 already. I If you could build 400HP to 2000HP in nine months then you can achieve more than the 2500HP you stated within the few months that are left. You just need to keep the consistent attitude. One of the reasons why I said you could achieve the 5000 HP is because, when you started you had to learn a lot, go through difficulties but there is great improvement now, it is expected that the speed at which you would progress now would be times two of the former.
All things are achievable if we are determined. Paying the price for what is worth it is not a waste, neither is it suffering. There is a story behind every success, and it is not all of it that is sweet.

To add to your point boss when i joined hive i found it difficult to write ✍️ because I'm not good at writing in fact at some point i had to tell my little sister to help me out but I'm a fast leaner i start writing five days after i joined hive although it's not easy but I'm still trying my best on it everyday one of the things hive have done for me is this writing skills as i personally knows that I've really improved well. Furthermore it's not easy to have 2k HP i must say you are really doing well boss and i will be seeing you at the top by achieving more of that.. probably in the future i will also be someone like you LoLs 😂.. thanks for sharing ogami.
